I guarentee you if McCain had been elected and this turn-around happened on his watch, Fox News after only a year and a half would hail him as the greates president since Ronald Reagan.
The President of the United States has ZERO control over the ups and downs of the American stock market. Without regulations in place, the market will forever be in control of speculators who can artificially make it rise and fall like the tides. Until government is given the power to do its job, we will be held hostage. With the blessing of every Republican who preaches against reform.
