Gay Teen Nominated & then barred From Being Racine Park High School Prom Queen

It;s the students' prom not the administrators' or the parents' the kids should be able to nominate and vote for whom they want, regardless of the "adults" bigotry.

Interesting that the school administration won't talk about their decision or give their reasons. It appears they're afraid they'll be recognized as the bigots they really are.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Kids will be kids but it's really not fair to the girls being nominated to have a boy take a nomination slot from the girls.

We ended up with a near idiot as our class president because some thought it would be amusing to nominate a Big Man On Campus football player for the post. It was the worse student administration the school had ever seen. Many student functions were messed up for all the class because of stupidity.

Sometimes it's best to leave well enough alone.
