Baby's killing leaves neighborhood shaken

The mother and boyfriend resided in a town that was approximately 150-200 miles away from the father. The mother also indicated to nearby family that boyfriend was good to her and the children.
It is peculiar for all these people to defend mother honor despite the obvious,i.e. bruising on 2 year old that is recent and old.
Maybe dad doesn't want to speak negative of the boys mother. Maybe he loves her and knew a better side of her. His last face to face with her was in July.
This is just horrible anyway you look at it.
All of try not to let your negative feelings swallow you up and blind you to the situation of a two year old who endured abuse plus lost his little brother and mother within a short time.
God will judge all responsible
