[AP]Brookhaven--the enterprise bulldogs football season came to an end friday night as the enterprise bulldogs fell to loyd star 41-27. mistakes in the first half doomed enterprise's chances to win. enterprise was down 26-0 at the half but cut that deficit to 26-20 in the 4th quarter. enterprise finishes with a 6-5 record. roshawn johnson ruhed for 197 yards on 24 rushes and scored 3 touchdowns in the losing effort. friday night's game also ended the careers of 8 bulldog seniors--roshawn johnson, zach bond, josh heathcock, bo billelo, dillion martin, ethan wiliams, tyler copeland and seth kidd. roshawn johnson finished with 1,104 yards and 17 touchdowns this season. zach bond also had a good year with about 700 yards and 7 touchdowns. maxwell harmon had a solid year as the enterprise quarterback. the big story of the year was roshawn johnson's knee injury. he ended up rushing for 1,104 yards and 17 TDs despite missing four games with a knee injury. no doubt the mississippi association of coaches will once again name him to the all-state team in 2A. THE OUTLOOK FOR 2010--things look bright for the future at E.H.S. enterprise has many players returning next year. with almost everyone coming back on the offensive line and several players back in the backfield, things look bright for enterprise. on the O-line enterprise has big 6-foot-4, 330 pound left tackle jonathan parker, 6'2, 210 pound center matthew helms, 5'6, 200 guard jage doss, 6'1, 200 guard colton touchstone and 5'10, 170 pound guard nick moore as well as 6'3, 275 pound junior-to-be will kidd at right tackle and 6'2, 265 pound tackle caleb rozzell. in the backfield promising players like dusty acreman, freddy highmore, zach morgan and ryan moore. J.B. king should take over the fullback role. and don't forget 6'4, 180 pound tight end/defensive end toyre johnson.
