In Aug 5, 2009 George Sodini, 48, of Scott Township, Pa. who opened fire on an exercise class of women in a Pittsburgh gym, killing three people and himself. He wrote in his blog just before committing the sin of murder:
"I need to remain focused and absorbed COMPLETELY. Last time I tried this, in January, I chickened out. Lets see how this new approach works. Maybe soon, I will see God and Jesus. At least that is what I was told. Eternal life does NOT depend on works. If it did, we will all be in hell. Christ paid for EVERY sin, so how can I or you be judged BY GOD for a sin when the penalty was ALREADY paid. People judge but that does not matter. I was reading the Bible and The Integrity of God beginning yesterday, because soon I will see them."

Sam Morris, Baptist preacher in Stamford, TX wrote an article entitled, "Do A Christian's Sins Damn His Soul"? Here is a quote from the article:
"We take the position that a Christian's sins do not damn his soul. The way a Christian lives, what he says, his character, his conduct, or his attitude toward other people have nothing whatever to do with the salvation of his souls...And all the sins he may commit from murder to idolatry will not make his soul in any more danger."

Bill Foster, Baptist preacher in Louisville KY made this comment:
"If I killed my wife and mother and debauched a thousand women I couldn't go to hell--in fact, I couldn't go to hell if I wanted to."

Although these statements appear repulsive, they genuinely represent the official view of most evangelical churches.

Keep pointing the fingers at other places Heath.

You cant even prove a basic tenant of your belief, that your church is the one in the Bible.

I have thoroughly and biblically disproved that notion.

And you've proven that __________ is the true church on earth today.

Thanks for your help. ;)

Yes, if you can show me the Baptist denomination in the Bible.

Can you do that?

Was the word "baptist" in John the baptist his name? or was it what he did?

Jesus the carpenter. Carpenter is not a name but what He did.

Good to see you again. Did you ever find the infant plan of salvation in the Bible?

Are seriously suggesting that the Baptist denomination existed in the first century?

I have a cousin who attended a Baptist church. He liked it for a period of time. The problem was that he did not actually know what they taught.

So I brought a few things to his attention, next thing I knew they are not recognizing him to be a part of the Baptist church because he was not baptized into the baptist church.- lol

My cousin does not take a stand when one is saved, before or after water baptism. He figures they are saved either way. Which btw is teaching two gospels (when there is only one gospel)(Gal.1:6-9).

But I found this interesting. The Baptist Church is usually upset over the coC for taking such a stand.

My cousin left the Baptist Church.

Blood in the water…water, blood. Circling. Circling. Senses coming fully alert, here in the life sustaining water…water is everything. There! A flutter from something injured, flailing in the water. Yes! There it is again…odor of blood. An injured one…now is my chance. Faster now, I am mighty, unrelenting - summoned by the smell and vibrations of the victim (in the water), bleeding. I rush, unstoppable, jaws parting…Now! Oooh, it’s good, the water filling with blood and my victim crushed, lifeless, limp. Tearing flesh, ripping and slashing, feeding until I am gorged with meat, flesh, blood. Here in the water. Deep beneath the life sustaining water, where I am king. Where all others are weak and stupid. And don’t belong.

Do any of you believe this is what God wants you to do with His word? To be spiteful, hateful people professing that your way is the right and only way? I have never seen such irresponsible use of the Gospel in my life. You cannot profess your faith and yet treat other people, your neighbors, this way. You are violating everything we are supposed to be as believers. No wonder the Atheists are winning battles they should never win. We fight amongst ourselves instead of working toward our rights in this country as Christians.

Im sorry I did not give you a link. It was not meant as a brag but as a fact.

Here you go: http://www.topix.com/forum/city/martinsville-... among other places.

In there you find what I am speaking of.

I have shown Biblical proof that the CoC is not in the bible.

I have shown historical and biblical proof that the 1st century churches did not practice CoC views.

And so on and so forth.

You will also notice, Beautifulfeet, Heath, Johnny, etc, have had no answers for what I have shown.

If you think I have missed something please let me know.

Unlike many on this forum, I can backup everything I say.

Why don't you go let Arnold Murray lay hands on you. You obviously are very ill. Let's see how great you Arkansas god is. According to you, he is the very best - now put him to the true test. If Murray fails, just go check yourself in the mental hospital. And by the way, don't aggravate your husband's back any more. Smyrna may issue you a stern rebuke.

Kings James Companion Bible, Luke 20-42, David himself saith,Considering that the Lord spoke only what the Father gave him to speak, it is perilously near blasphemy for a modern critic to say, nothing can be more mischievous or more irreverent that to dragin the name of our Lord to support a particular view of Biblical criticism. The Lord,s name is not dragged in. It is He Who is Speaking. It is He Who declares in the name Jehovah that David himself wrote these words in the Book of Psalms. It is denial of this that must undermine faith in Christ.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Capricorn

You're feeling edgy as Mars moves into reverse, and it won't be long before people start to get on your nerves. You might get very irritated by someone's funny little habits, yet feel you daren't say anything in case you go overboard. Or you could get very annoyed when someone blurts out something that was supposed to be a secret but which quickly becomes common knowledge.
