"Freezes in Santa Fe, when temperatures drop below 32 degrees Fahrenheit,"

What would we do without such educational facts in our morning reads?

Santa fe did not have a severe drought this summer. It actually rained quite a bit. Just another "the sky is falling!" tactic. Puleezz, we live in a semi-arid state. Rain is great, Snow is great, wind sucks!

How about you grow up and register so that we can know who you are instead of playing the coward with your post.....any one who was not a transplant would know that we have received a good amount of rain for this area this year.

...our normal weather patterns? Our "normal", weather patterns are a monsoon season that runs from the end of June into August, which we didn't have this summer, and much more snow than we had last winter. A transplant is someone who thinks that 10 drops of rain here in the "desert", will get us out of a drought. Get out of your recliner and get out more, Truetty.

This has been a wetter than normal year in Espanola. Not so much rain as moisture in the air. The sunlight has not been as strong because of that. Seemed like the plants were in suspended animation in the beginning of summer. Have had relatively few days with no chance of rain predicted. Doesn't rain much here, but sure has in surrounding areas.

There will be a early and heavy snow this year. Might not get so cold, but we will get snow.

I may be incorrect but wasn't last winter one with record snowfall numbers?

register smegister.
Transparant? NOBODY is transparent on the internet. Do you think that because you type a name that all will believe it is YOUR name? And if it is, what is the big deal? being exposed does not make your statements any more valuable or valid.
Ones thoughts and expressions are what weeds out the dim and dull.
duhh
AND, FYI there is nothing wrong with "transplants" as you call people who move here from elsewhere. Otherwise you would be more inbred than you are already.
P.S. I'm a local/native transplant 5 generations ago, NOT "Spanish" which usually means,(I'm a liar, or dumb,my family are really from Mexico) Or a displaced by proud and pompous invaders Native American.

This was a good "Monsoon" season at all.

The moisture flow from Mexico was pretty much cut off this year by cold fronts from the west.

These fronts are what triggered our rain this season.
