Seems to me that anyone can spout statistics to support their point of veiw without any firsthand knowledge. It just so happens that I have not only served with but flown with Michelle and have found her to be an exceptional aviator and soldier.
She has voluntered to put herself in harms way to support the American way so that you have the right to post ignorant comments so just appreciate her and what she does.

A. Wrong. Women have served in the military and on police forces with distinction since they have been allowed to do so. Just because they make you uncomfortable is no reason to denigrate their service or abilities.

B. A good friend who served in Iraq WITH Michelle has stated on many occasions that she carried her own weight better than most of the men she was there with. Add in the challenge of fighting attitudes such as yours every day -- and you have one hell of a soldier, citizen, Human being, and intellect -- regardless of gender.

Could you do what she does? I highly doubt it.

C. There are a couple of places on earth where opinions like yours are common and accepted. One is called the Islamic Republic of Iran. I invite you to go there.

All I have to say is that this idiot from Patchogue needs a rude awakening regarding the strength, courage, and wisdom of women. You are entitled to your opinion, but if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Don't you realize that this is someone's daughter, sister, and wife that you are talking about? By saying that women shouldn't be in the military, you are saying that the title that she worked so hard for isn't warranted.

FYI, my sister along with many others are putting their lives on the line for you and this country. Better adjust your attitude.

I am so proud of my sister and pray for the safety of all of the troops.

As for my brother-in-law, I pray for you too and all of the other spouses that have to be separated from loved ones.

As a friend of Michelle's from back in the geology days, just wanted to say how proud I am of her and that I'm thinking of her. I'm so glad they did this story on her - have been trying to track her down for awhile after Xmas cards got returned several years in a row. If Her Husband or Her Sister can help with that, I'd appreciate it.
