The Gazette is going the way of the Free Press. In a few weeks the paper will be dead.

Heard the gray-haired old bat of an editor moaning at McDonalds this morning about losing her job at the end of the month. She said their only major advertiser, Grand View Hospital, pulled all advertising after executives read e-mails from the Lone Gunman about the paper's unfair and unwarranted attacks on Lisa Andrejko and our fine public education system in Quakertown.

The Lone Gunman also forwarded an e-mail written by one of the puppet "owners", who called Andrejko some very unflattering things, referencing her sexual orientation and using numerous expletives.(Thank you, Lone Gunman, for standing up to these bullies!)

There's even better news! Town and Country, the weekly published by professional journalists in Pennsburg, has expanded into Quakertown to fill the void and provide unbiased news reporting. TAC has been providing local news for local readers since 1899 and has steadily increased its coverage of Quakertown, which has been welcomed with open arms by the business community.

there you go, doing the same thing you hoped for with the free press. The lone gunman is such a confident individual, so bold, yet, when called out to back up his claims, he doesnt reveal his identity. until that happens, how are we to believe them?

Ever see Dr. A ranting about "that paper" when she sees a crowd show up at the board meeting. Some of the directors are no better, like angry Mossley or the snide board president Martin, who has to ask Dr. A every two secs what she's supposed to do next. Kinda interesting that whenever the Lone Gunman puts out a venomous poison pen letter or makes anonymous phone calls to business owners, it's usually preceded by some public rant about "that paper" by Dr. A or her followers.

Do you want to speed this process up even more? If people are only buying the Gazette to read Woldow's trash, stop spending your money and giving them a profit. Instead, just go to his website each week to read the identical article online, for free. In turn, the Gazette will gain nothing. I hope your tip is true.

I heard the same thing. Gazette's advertising falls far short of the cost to print the woefully overstated copies they claim.

Town and Country is indeed moving in for the kill. Their reporters regularly report on the events here in Upper Bucks, and they have a strong advertising base.

The Bucks County Herald is creeping in from the other side.

Gazette will fizzle. Sorry, HAS fizzled.

Since you brought up the subject of "acting like a fool," let's look at Orloff's antics at the School Board meeting just before the Primary. Bob Smith, the write-in candidate who destroyed Alfonso, called Orloff out and told him he didn't even know how to run his own township to the applause and cheers of 250 people at the meeting.

This blows your theory that only a handful of people don't like Orloff. He may have iron rule in Richland, but he is a NOBODY everywhere else--and the applause at the School Board meeting proves it.

"Arty" you are repeating yourself. Next you'll be writing about your former neighbors in the boarding house and about the color of your mother's eyes. How are you any different from that other blogger?

Remember, there are always two sides to every story, especially where Woldow is concerned because he is known to leave out crucial pieces of information that would change the entire tone of his "stories."

The really interesting bit of worthwhile news is the revelation of Kim Pacella's email to community members that was actually penned by Stepanoff and brought before the board during public comment by Bob Smith, the write-in candidate who trounced Manuel Alfonso.

Stepanoff is charged in his role as a QCSD School Board Director to do what is best for the district but is using subversive activities to undermine it. Since his actions become more cavalier as time goes on, he will the architect of his own defeat.

Now, now, be nice. After all, if calling someone a "bimbo" can get you sued, categorizing them as you do could get you life in jail!

This is true.
But notice I walked that legal line by saying that "Ranting, Angry and Snide" were 'kinda like' THE 3 STOOGES WITH AN EDGE but not that they ACTUALLY are. So as not to insult the 3 Stooges.
It's known as a Clintonesque prevarication.

So sorry, my anonymous and soon to disappear from these threads friend, but you Did describe them as the "ranting, angry and snide" elected officials. They take their "marching orders" and legal recommendations from the "Mentor" they elected and hired. Farewell, poor luckless "Real World". See you in court!

The sob story of an editor says the final issue of The Gazette will be coming out July 29. I told her that was great news and that her paper wouldn't be missed by anyone.

Quakertown is much better served by papers of substance, like Town and Country, which has been beefing up its presence in the area.

Businesses should call TAC for their advertising needs. Ask for Carl France, advertising director.

Any rumor about where W will be spreading his lies from? I couldn't imagine that a real newspaper would want to hire him. He could never work for a newspaper that checked their facts and he'll never give up his editor rights.

Trevor, I think Woldow has a lot more to think about these days than the Gazette. He has a death on his hands now.

Is he the same guy that did advertising for the free press? I like the bucks county herald, wider view of things and places to go.
