Word on the street...

Partners of the holding company / landlord are expected to seek a buyer for their property or a new lessee. Coyotes is supposedly behind on their "rent" and their taxes.

Could it be that fighting the township is just not worth it?

I still want to hear why their LCB license is not active.... do they need to bail it out of hock?

I'll send them the number to Cracker Barrel.

Why do you keep bringing up your mom on here? I thought your pet name for her was supposed to be a secret. Well, except with your neighbors.

Why would this surprise anyone?
PALCB could be withholding the license for any number of reasons, being in arrears on fees to them is a biggy. How long can they carry the debt they have from taxes, contractor, utilities etc.? The lot would have to be packed every night for years to pay it all off.
The Township didn't have to break a sweat because they knew the situation and they knew McGoogle threats were desperation. They just stuck to the plan and let time financially strangle Coyotes.
Haywood, how about a bet on time before the 'doors close'.
I say 3-4 months..Summer has to be the slow season for strip clubs.

and to milford madness..."the lot would have to be packed for years to pay it all off". how do you know how much money is owed? for them to owe so much money that they would have to be packed for years would be millions of dollars. you think they owe millions of dollars?

I've told you before.
They have 2 failed businesses and were behind on taxes. You think that money was sitting on a shelf somewhere?
I know how the PALCB works from having gone thru the process for liquor license before. PALCB will show up at you business regularly when you're behind on payments. Where do bars buy their booze from...the LCB! They regulate very closely and will fine you when behind. They won't re-issue a license until everything is cleared up.
From application to license...It takes 3 Months with a clean applicant, that's a fact!
They started Coyotes in debt. You think they are making a profit now? Not!
They've been shopping Coyotes quietly for months.

This story could be BS or totally true. But you have to look at some of the facts here. That parking lot is pretty empty every time I pass it. I have passed by the place at 9PM, 10PM, 1AM and so forth. They hardly have any customers. And remember this business is making its money off of the cover charge. They don't profit on liquor because they don't sell any. I don't know their books, but as a businessman myself, I would think this place is really struggling to stay afloat. That could be a reason the place looks like ish outside. The last thing ownership wants to spend money on is making the place look nicer if they are going under.

Like I said, that's the word on the street, and I can't be the only one who's hearing it.

It's not such a surprising scenario.

"and begin": Are you worried? You seem kind of edgy on the topic.

Now that nudity is prohibited, ain't no one gonna pay $20 to see women with clothes on.

Simple supply and demand, and I demand some pancakes.

I would agree here. Not much different from staying home, having a beer and seeing nudity on TV. Why would anyone take beer somewhere, pay $20, and get to see women with their clothes on?

Common Sense stated here..
- I'll buy McGoogle a bottle of Round-up myself cause his weeds are going to be blowing on my beautiful lawn soon.
-I hope Milford cites Coyotes with the Twp. "weed ordinance".
-I thought it looked better when the bench was there.

Well let's see as someone in the "know". NO nudity? Oddly enough that was all I saw tuesday and wednesday. Hmm seems the township lost that one. As far as the liquor license it is in escrow as they have been telling people for quite sometime. Money concerns? Even if they decide to sell the joint guess who will buy it up? Who will they sell it to? Hmm my guess would be to a another strip club owner. One with really deep pockets and maybe a few other clubs in his portfolio.

So let's review. The township pretty much screwed up from the beginning trying to mesh two diffrent types of injunctions into 1 and not only that the judge at the hearing laughed in their face.

The township folded before the first "big" court hearing and told coyotes they were gonna get their conditional use permit. Hmm so odd that even after all of milfords weak ass protests and NOT ONE PICKETTER that Coyotes got their permit.

Can't milford just get over it and just move on with their lives. Hell they even bitch about technology that will make the air cleaner and bring down electricity bills because it won't look pretty. OH BOO HOO!

So come on into Coyotes everyone and enjoy the nudity cause it doesn't stop and milford isn't stopping Coyotes anytime soon.

Nice fake news headline. Phrasing it like that just proves how far you'll go. I'm sure if I ask where you got your information, you'll have no sources, you'll just have to make more sh-t up.

So you are telling me that Milford Township before all this hubbub started would have been SOOO accepting of Coyotes? Are you that dense? Why file for something you aren't gonna get and just run your business and then deal with the legal aspects as they come up. Sounds fair to me.

For example let's just say in BIZARRO WORLD I am not allowed to drink water. Yet I continue to do so even though I am not allowed until someone brings it up. So what do I do? I then fight to drink water. Just like Coyotes is doing.

Now to further expand on that. If I was already drinking said water and the powers that be came up to me and said. "Listen I know this isn't right and all but go ahead and drink the water and we won't say nothing about it."

So to put a long story short. Coyotes knew the township wouldn't approve the conditional use permit no matter HOW many times they say they would have been HAPPY to give it. Sure ya would. At the court hearing when the Coyotes attorney asked the council man if Coyotes was well within the law of the township would they get their permit...he balked...refused to say yes or no until prompted by the judge and said NO.

Hmm hypocrisy tastes bitter eh?
