City Goverment

Well it did not take but one board meeting for me to see just who runs the city goverment.. It was clear when Mayor Holder would not even let one of the board members discuss something that things are gonna be done her way or no way...
The rest of the board better start standing up and doing their jobs. It is not right for her to use the office to get back at people that were against her in the election.
Do not think that it is fair..
Then to try to change positions and contracts that were set before she was mayor.. Well folks people better wake up before it is way to late..

And why does this NOT surprise me?

Well it is and always will be this way till people get the balls or guts however you want to put it to start standing up for what they believe.. I have yet to see a protest in support or against anything.. People like to talk, but getting them into action is a new ballgame.
Just like them wanting to break contract signed with the county on fire protection.. It does not matter how much better it is for the citizens and how much better the equipment is and cheaper the rates would be.. But because they cannot have a say in what is done, who is hired or fired that is done before a board of directors within the fire department.. They want to break the contract.. It will be the citizens that pay the cost.. People better wake up

wake up citizens before it is to late.. Do you realize what your major is doing to your city? Do you realize what is going to happen it you lose your local Fire Department? would not want that insurance payment for sure..
Mayor Holder has made it clear that she is NO better that the last mayor and that she wants it her way or No way.. It is clear that there are several board members being paid under the table to get certain things done...
Why should that surprise anyone.. We knew what it was going to be like..
So Face it Lumberton is one screwed up place.
