crimes in Pulaski

Who decides what crimes are important and which crimes go under the rug? I believe that John Dicky, the police chief, follows orders from the mayor and judge Damaran. If these guys know the family of the person committing the crime then sweep it away, but if you are just a person in this town, then you get the book thrown at you. it is not the crime that you commit but who you know and how much money you have that decides what your fate will be. If you are a child molester and your family is known by the mayor and judge, then nothing will happen to you. If you are not popular with these guys and you steal from the local stores then you will do time. I believe that the chief of police should do the job that he was given, because of kissing butt, and stop playing politics or favorites. We need real justice in this town and not candy asses who play chiefs. This is not a game. Our town is going down and people who should be locked away are walking the streets putting our citizens in danger. Who is calling the shots and why isn't justice being served, even if you are buddies with the people running this town. We need justice and not puppets!!!

All I can say to future juvenile child rapists is if you plan on molesting little children in this town, don't worry about spending anytime in jail. While your in court you will receive a stern warning from Judge Damron that if you were 18 you would go to jail for 50 years. But don't worry because it's all talk and no action. You will go to rehab and then be let out in a matter of a few weeks with a clean slate. Your records will be buried forever. You will be allowed to go back to mainstream school and graduate.
Also if the police find out you raped a second person around the same time, nothing will be done about it because they have better things to do like harassing homeowners about how high their grass is. The only way you'll have a visit by the police is if your grass is over 8".
I might add that you can also watch all the little kids that go in and out of Wal-Mart from your truck while hanging out with your friends. No one really cares, believe me.
If anyone ever shows your picture in public you could sue them for everything they have. Just think, you won't have to work and you'll have more time to rape little kids.
So if your urge to rape a little kid is overwhelming don't hesitate, you'll be sent to rehab and your sickness will be cured.
Oh, by the way, A WORD OF ADVICE! Don't try raping any children of the people who are in power in this city because all of the above won't apply.

first of all, I am letting people know what is going on in this town. After that, I plan on drawing state and national attention on the issue. If nothing happens, I will bring a law suit against this town and the people who are doing these injustices. I have tried to talk to the local officials on these matters but they don't want to have a meeting to discuss the issues. It is not a pity party. it is the start of something bigger. First, you need to letting the average citizen know what is happening, therefore they won't be caught with there pants down on the issues at hand. If you know of a better way, I will be happy top hear them. The issues that I am referring to are that people in this town get special treatment while others suffer, in the court system and the police system. the mayor won't comment on these issues because it will uncover some of the skeletons in his closet, to the public. I have friends that can't even get into the police station, which they can't even follow up on the police reports that were taken when called to there house. II would be happy to hear your social input on this matter.

First are you from Pulaski? Second, do you have children or grand children? Have they been raped? If not then you really don"t know what your talking about. For your uninformed information, no one in this town thinks that letting a child rapist go free is something that needs to be discussed. Yes, your right this is a pity party. sexual abuse by a40 yr.old woman and a 14 yr.old boy.the police were called april 28 2008 for acrime that happened in march 2008.to date all that has been done is a statement taken ,a phone downloaded and a computer also.today is feb.4,2009.i call every monday.no new info.it's been almost a year and i wonder how many more she has done this to since she has had a year to keep molesting whoever she wants.she also is emploed in a position that works with mental people.

I am sorry what has happened. Do you live here in Pulaski or the surrounding area? It seems that you are not alone when it comes to the police picking whom to arrest and whom not to arrest. The children in this town is not safe. There are child sex abusers all over this town. the police and the judge do nothing about it. If it happened to one of their own, it would be a different story. Have you done anything else to get info. besides calling? Do you get the run around, like everyone else in this town? Who have you talked to for more information? Child sexual abuse is never alright. I am really worried. I went online, as I always do before a move, and saw the registered sex offenders listed, but there were only a few in Pulaski. I have only been here a short time and was lovin it, now I am scared for my kids(and confused).

What is there to be confused about? is it that the people who are sworn to protect us are only out to protect themselves and their friends? That is how it is down here. It all depends on who you know and if they like you or not. You should be afraid for your children. sex offenders are a menace. They all should be put somewhere together in the middle of the lions den, however they have an ally. Chief Dicky. He protects them and kisses there a**. It makes you wonder if he is with them or one of them. we will have to wait and see!

Seems rural America is going to Hades in a handbasket. At least that's what many choose to believe.

If you want something done about the problems, organize, get together with your neighbors and "leaders" and show them that if law enforcement won't do it's job, it may be time for some civil disobedience if not vigilante action.

Giles County is lacking resources as it is. It may be time to take action as a community.

Rumor has it, but can't find any news of it to substantiate the rumor?

rumor has it that he was allegedly arrested for dui in nashville while he riding his motorcycle and drugs were found in his possession. note that the u.s. marshals have been seen in town. might be a connection?

Does anyone know the difference of rape and statutory rape? Just checking as a lot of people seem not to know the difference.
