David Tyner(bird)

Has anyone heard of allegations of David killing the reality star from a HBO series and 3 others and two of them were pregnant. It happened in or around Oklahoma city. I am a long time friend of his and I just couldnt see him doing something like this. I used to wrestle with him and we went to school together. He went to colledge at chatanooga tennesee and then became a marine. He done a tour in iraq and afterwards there was a stint so he had to come back home. I hung out with him and he did go through some bad stuff over in Iraq. He told just a couple of his close friends about his duties and how awful it was over there and what he had to do.Let me just say it wasn't for the faint of heart. He joined up in mixed martial of arts as most of us did and he done very good for his self. I just cant think of a single reason why he would do this. Unless he admits to me that He actually done this horiffic crime I refuse to believe it. I feel for those who lost thier loved ones that day and I pray for them. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I just think theres more to the story. I will also continue to pray for my friend.(David Tyner)... I do not know him personally but I have friends that were pretty close to him. I have been around him on a few occasions but I do not believe that he has done this and I think that there is more to the story also.

ya there's more to the story i met that piece of shit at strip bar, he was w/Casey the guy he killed, my friend. Holligan/David was Casey's bodyguard, he always carried guns and would come down from Pryor w/his girlfriend Shannon he had a room in Casey's house. Casey took very good care of him except the muthafucka got greedy and wanted more. I'm sure theirs more people involved he's too stupid to come up w/that on his own! i hope he burns in hell!

Hmmmm I personally knew David Tyner and he was an upstanding man that has been changed by war and the governments lack of ability to take care of its soldiers after war. To the person whom had so much smack talk about Bird, I bet you were just mad because he probably kicked your ass for being an idiot or something. LMAO. I'm sure the truth will come out and in the meantime I completely support David and know his heart is good and pray for his strength.

I love an respect David he's my big brother in the indian way! I know in my heart he didn't do this he's to good of a man he carried his head high he had respect for everybody as long as you had respect for him an if you didn't then he just wouldn't go around you I know the truth will come out an the one that really done this will pay! Tyner does not dersve any negative talk against him he has not been found gulty of any crime so nobody needs to put him down because if you ask anyone that really knew him like I did then they would tell you your only gona eat your words when they haft to set him FREE bc he didn't do it! An I really don't belive that who ever said he carried a gun ever even seen him with one or really even knew him iv known Tyner my hole life an the only time I ever seen him with a gun was when he was goin hunting an most of the time when he did go hunting he used a bow I never seen him a hand gun he never had a need for one he could kick ur ass without it trust me I was trained by him an hes plenty good enough without one he's an awsome man that could use everyones prayers an support to get through this an pray for those who were lost an there famillies an please pray for tyners familly to I know we are all just in shock that this is happing an for thouse that think he done it I pray for you as well I ask god opens ur eyes an that you don't feed on the lies that have been spread across the nation after all you wornt there so you have no clue what really happen! I was stationed with Tyner in 29 Palms California and I really have no proof of this I can display on the internet but I will say this, He served in Iraq as a Motor Transport Operator for 1 1/2 months to 2 months tops.

I am not going to call him out like I did on another post because one of his supporters called me a liar. I will put this as nice a s possible. I was with him in Kuwait for a month while we waited for trucks to come off ship, and from Camp Udari, Kuwait we convoyed to Camp Al Taqqadum, Iraq. Dave was overweight by Marine Corps standards and was forced to PT everyday with our Gunnery Sgt. for remedial PT- Like I said he was there two months, he NEVER convoyed after our initial drive into Iraq, he Never was fired at directly and NEVER saw combat action. The worst he would have seen was mortar attacks and we never suffered casualties while he was there in that 2 months. He was sent back home to Twentynine Palms, CA because a Marine walked into Daves tent and Dave had his rifle barrel in his mouth and said he could not take the Unit's forced PT because of his weight any longer, He said he was tired of the stress. The Marine talked him out of suicide and he was sent home and Discharged. I don't know what kind of Discharge it was but I am sure it was not Honorable. As I remember Dave was about 5'8", 235 lbs. and drove a red or blue Honda Civic while he was stationed with us. He was married shortly to a good looking blonde who I believe was from TN. I seem to recall a tattoo on his bicep but I can't remember what it was of.

I feel bad if Dave really did this as he seemed like an OK guy in the short time I knew him. BUT, if he told you that he was involved in shootouts and combat in Iraq he was telling you lies. I would not write this just to tear your boy up, but I know the truth as I was there with him. Our unit was in the 3rd Marine Airwing. We were not grunts and very few of us got Combat Action Ribbons or Purple Hearts.

everything the previous post says is the 100% truth. Dave did nothing. the closest we got was a bus getting blown up but to my knowledge he wasnt even in that convoy. so i dont know what kind of war stories he was tellin yall but the only action he saw was the PT rath of our Gunny... sorry to burst yalls bubble but daves a liar and i wish i knew what he was thinkin because he was a good guy. i never thought that he could have done somethin like this..

I was one of Tyner's room mates in TN. The Tyner I knew was not capable of commiting these crimes. A little off the wall yes, but the trigger man in these crimes, I don't think so.

You are from FL how do you know anything about David Tyner? I have known that family for years. And that is not the David I knew, the David I knew could not have done such a horrible act. OK is a corrupt state and they will pin anybody just so they can close a case in a hurry!

Screw off if you say he done it! This man you think is so horrible took time out of his day to come to the wrestling room with me and his name is still on that Wall of Fame and it will forever be there because he's a bad ass! A judge rules that David Tyner will stand trial in the deaths of four people in 2009. As of today.

I went to school with David and I didn't see a murderer in him. He was a happy go lucky kind of guy who had a passion for wrestling and football. He was a rowdy guy but he did it all in fun. I would like to hear more about what is going on with the case but I cant seem to get any information.

Well, for someone who claims to have been in the military with him and served across seas with him seems to have some great detail about David? How about the rest that so called grew up with him? Were you all there? Did you see his discharge papers? He would have to carry them around with him. I don't know if he did it or not. I know he's being accused of it. Why? Why would he be accused of killing 4 people all the way in Oklahoma City? What was his connection?

To the person from Illinios who claims Oklahoma just wants to hurry up and accuse someone and close the case. This thing has been going on for 2 years. Sure is taking awhile for a government that wants to hurry up and convict.

This is a delicate case because 4(actually 6) counts of murder is being charged. 6, that's almost to be considered a serial killer. The laws of the land WILL prevail in this one. If David did do it then he deserves his punishment.

All you marks for him need to open your eyes to the possibility he could be guilty. You people are probably the same people that when you read a newspaper about a murder happening you always say, "hope they fry them." Well, now that it's someone you know. It's all about, "oh, he could never do it".

If someone elses friend, son, grandson, father, brother, cousin could do it then so could David. David is no God. He has faults and anyone is capable of pulling this off. Just for the record, I know David. I've known him awhile. I know his family more. I feel bad for his family right now that are going through this. If anything, they are the innocent ones through this.

You know people just love to judge other with no facts I knew bird in highschool and after he returned from iraq he never told me any war stories but if you "knew the path he was on then you should have warned people instead of attacking him after the fact and the only way to know what happened that night was to be there.

To all the ppl out there that think he is a horrible person, you are so wrong. I know him more personal than anyone of you, yes he has made mistakes in life like we all have, I actually dated him all thru high school and actually have a daughter by him and David had some problems, but know one knows what that kid went thru and was treated like as a child, but that doesn't mean he is a killer I could never imagine him doing anything so horrible he was the most gentle loving boyfriend he hated anything about a woman being abused in anyway or a child.....and I also agree with the one that said about him being hooligan that is so wrong everyone that ever knew him he is Byrd. And it is not anyone's place this is between him and GOD.
