does the material say it is flammable? if not, the manufacturers probably are liable, which is the only way they could be penalized here. any use of this material would be dangerous. if suitable disclosure of flammability was made, then the companies should not be liable.

how about going after the municipality for repeatedly inspecting the club and failing to note the presence of the dangerous material? who were the fire inspectors? these entities should also be sued for failing to protect the public.

So if the owners of the building or the contractor use a product in a manner in which they should not, the company who made the product has to pay up?
It is sad that the liars.....er, lawyers can just go after anyone they want and these companies or insurance companies pay up instead of fighting.
I feel bad for the famlies of the 100 people who died but this is blood money....sad!

Yes this has gone way too far! let the dead rest. I couldn't believe that they sued the radio station for promoting the concert. I could not even get my medical paid when I broke my collar bone after hitting a 6 inch deep pothole on my bicycle. Humans as a whole are disgraceful.

Can you sue the people who live around the area who complained about the noise, which is what promted the need for the foam insulation in the first place? They are the ones who started it all! Shame on them, they should share some of the blame too don't you think? Just kidding...maybe.
