atheist's only like to read verses that fit their bible bashing, they never read the full verse nor do they ever and i mean EVER quote the positive things in the bible, they never seem to GET the full meaning of things and always think that human law is so much better than gods, they always throw the same ole' cliche' statements, just like a factory assembly line. They are utterly blind to the obvious prophecies that are coming true, the bible boil's down to yes or no questions. For example: did jesus say war and earth quakes would be more rampant? Yes. Are they? Yes. All you gotta do is google earth quake charts, no hiding it. Did st.john see a one world government in revelations? Yes. Is there a one world gov? No, but our leaders have been very open about it since 1991, bush sr. Even said it in a speech, the vatican called for a one world currency and Mr.Obama is pushing us further toward it as well. Does the bible speak of moral decline? Yes. Is it happening? Yes. Look at television alone, it has become border line porn on some channels and foul language and death litter every channel. See second timothy chapter 3. Does jesus warn us about islam and catholocism? Yes. Are they prevelant in today as some of the top religions? Yes. See first timothy chapter 4. The bible says,''no man is more blind than the one who refuses to see.'' and those examples are just a very small amount of proof.

You don't have to be religious to have a relationship with the Most High God. Each of us comes to a point in our lives, where we have to turn to something. It happened to me in the mountains of Afghanistan.

Take a look around, things are not getting better. You better get right with your maker because you might be meeting him face to face pretty soon.

Why do religious people assume that everyone prays when they get into trouble? I'm an atheist and I know that prayer will not help me, so I exert my energy in more productive ways.

To Anti-theist-It's Catholicism that's frequently vile, and Baptists and other organized religions. Christianity, at its' core, is based on the love and forgiveness of one man, Jesus. Religion nearly sabotaged the life and teachings of Jesus. Fundamentalists don't even follow after Jesus, they are self righteous and look down on non believers.

I don't agree because that same man supposedly preached that those who are not with him are against him and that dissenters will be tortured for eternity. That is a totalitarian doctrine of hate.
