You may wish to research NAFTA's travels to ratification a little more thoroughly, and check the party affiliation of those who voted for and against it in Congress before you make that sort of statement.

You can't spin that.
So what you're telling me is that the Democrats could have ratified NAFTA on their own, and that Bush played absolutely no role?

Check the vote.

<quoted text>What I'm telling you is that the Democrats held the House and Senate and could have refused to vote for it. 28 Democrat senators and 102 Democrat Representatives voted AYE. You accused the GOP of costing US jobs because of the passage of NAFTA. It never would have happened with out those Democrat votes.
But by all means...keep kidding yourself about the innocence of the Democrats in your job loss wailing.
Who's wailing? I simply answered this question:

with the word "NAFTA".

As you know, NAFTA began its journey to validity under Bush I, who negotiated it with Canada and Mexico, and signed it ceremonially prior to ratification before he left office.

Member of both parties voted for it in Congress, more Republicans than Democrats.

Those are the facts, chief. Spin em how you want. Both parties did it, and it never would have passed without sufficient support from each party's reps in Congress, no matter who controlled the House or Senate.

I didn't read the entire post. Going to go outside, grab a beer and enjoy global warming while it's here. In the meantime, can you tell me if Congress approved and who ran Congress and Senate at the time?

That's what Kasich thought. Then he pissed off the cop. Then the lions and bears got loose. Then he got his hat handed to him.

Now his Secretary of State and Franklin County's GOP chair are being exposed for what they are.

Riddle me this Fred:

How does party majority in either chamber, or both chambers for that matter, negate the promotion by either party of its specific political agenda?

Notice the word Fred: "promotion". Not success of the agenda. Promotion of it.

PS: there is no global warming.
climate change yes, caused by lots of volcano's across the globe warming the oceans.
Void of substance said the person who bases their voting choices on fear driven notions of 2000 year old lice infested shepherds.

Seems the energy industry, after spending millions to try to refute it, have recently admitted that climate change is in fact man made. This after one of the Koch Brother paid "scientists" quit because they couldn't deny that climate change was man made. Ooopsie that oil lobby dick you have been sucking on is outdated.

"We don't have to protect the environment, the Second Coming is at hand." James Watt, the outspoken anti-environmentalist conservative Christian Republican that Reagan put in charge of our environment.
Seems you've been sucking off that oil lobby for quite some time.

You do realize that even Tea Bagging kooks like you have to breath air and drink water, right?
