night spots

I usually stay in Princeton W.V. the weekend before Thanksgiving, on my way hunting in the north part of the state. I would just like to
know if there are any decent night clubs or places to have a good dinner and a drink?

Wow, I didn't know it was that bad there. Please don't die on me. I just wanted a good steak or prime rib and good atmosphere.
I usually eat at the Applebe's but last time i was there it was really bad. Maybe i need to go on to Beckley. But i hope not. Thanks for your reply

There hasnt been a decent night club in princeton or bluefield since the Kings gallery and BO's of Bluefield.
There are plenty of good eating places along 460 in princeton. And I don't know of any decent night clubs in beckley.

in agreeance with Genny and night life haha.... not much around here unfortunately. restaurants include chilils, outback, texas steakhouse, applebees, bob evans, cracker barral, and ryans off of exit 9. the clubs here depend on what your looking for. cowboy up in bluefield is ok... shakerz is a joke, and the rest just have skanky trash in them. there is always southern exposure lol...

Thank you Sure, I just moved here from Beckley, and the food selection is bad, and nightlife well I will give cowboy up a try.. I have beenn gone awhile, I forgot how bad it was here..lol, But I will adjust, Beckley is not really that far away, and as far as nightlife, there is nothing decent there..

Why is Shakerz a joke? I've never been there, just wondering, was thinking about checking them out.

Its fun but they let to many people in to where you can't move . Now all they do is have dress up parties . nothing but chicks who like dressing $|ú+ie

Maybe someone should look into opening something
decent around there.
West Virginia is a beautiful state and i love visiting there, but i don't know if i could live
there. To cold for me.

ATL you should make your way on past princeton and on in to beckley, there are 4 really nice clubs here i think you'd like.

I work at Outback. If you will be in on that Friday I will be bartending. You should come up and have dinner and a beer with us at the bar. We have $2 22oz. drafts from 8-10 at the bar and a new steak and lobster dinner speical starting that week. Hope to see you!!!

Oh, and there are some places to go here. Shakers actually is a pretty good time. I go on Saturdays sometimes. Danny's isn't a night club, but they usually have a good crowd on the weekends as does the Club Lounge. Kelsey's, Hooligan's, Kamikazee's, and the Mountaineer in Bluefield have good atmostpheres. There are things to do in the area. :)

Go to the Rock it club so you can have a good time and listen to some real music...Cowboy up is so country that you have to cry in your beer to make it through the night.

Thank you Cheri and Princeton. I not much for that crying in your beer country music. It seems like
when i hear country music, they play the same songs from the 80's and 90's. I guess to me all country music sounds the same.
It looks like there is more and more to do in area,
i might have to hang around a couple days.
I did eat at the Outback last year, Dam the snow was coming down. I got a room at the Hampton Inn, so i didn't have to drive up through the mountains at night. Thank you all for your suggestions, maybe will see some of you this weekend

and of course there's the chery bomb in bluefield...some say it's nice i dont know...but there are a few hotels to stay at in that area too...dont have to drive far to the cherry bomb!!!!!!
