I am moving to the area and was looking at the townhouses in kensington court. Does anyone know anything about them? Good neighborhood? Drugs? Does everyone there work or is it more of a welfare community? Sorry for all the questions but i know nothing of the area and would like to make an informed decision

This is not a welfare community. Very good neighborhood, and all of the people I know who live there are upper middle class. Seems to be a peaceful, quiet neighborhood.

Thanks for the replies. Im just looking for a quiet place without excessive noise or drama to raise my daughter for a few years while we find a house in the area. Welfare community? Since when does welfare pay 850 a month? That seems a little above the median rent for the area so i was hoping that would weed most of them out, but you can never tell these days

Put the 2 together & you get "far from welfare community".....
