Word has it The speedweay will not be sponsored by Fastrak next year. Got caught cheating on points. Anyone hear anything?

Ive heard that they will be continuing with Fastrak, and alsoa that they won't. It will be interesting to see.

The track got caught giving more points than they should have and a few of the drivers got points taken away.#6 and #21 are using bigger engines and Fastrak has had many complaints about this. So the track got caught. Dad had better clean it up for next year. |

I always knew they had bigger engines...its quite obvious to be honest. I didn't know about the points situation though.

Fastrak listed their top fifty from all the race track and #6 was shown in 3rd place, he was moved to 9th and #25 was moved from 37th place to 47th, don't know about the others. Fastrak was there one weekend and pulled some film and found out the track had given too many points so some of the drivers paid the penalty. Fastrak is also aware #6 and #21, maybe one more are running bigger engines and #6 has a special suspension. More than likely, Fastrak won't be there next year. |

#25 Johnson had points taken away? He was one of my favorites. I didn't think he cheated.
Maybe he was given extra points to keep his mouth shut..I heard he claimed #6 one night and they refused to call the officials down. |

You are right. He didn't cheat, the race track gave him more points that they should have. Not his fault or #6. Just that #6 wanted to win the big $50,000 at Fastrak. Stan Lester was told about #25 wanting the engine and #6 wouldn't give it. Mr. Lester is aware at what is going on there and has promised to take care of it because of all the complaining. Everyone knows the #6 and possibly #21 are running bigger engines and #6 has special suspension. Stan is aware of this also.#25 would never take points to stay quiet, nor would some of the others. Wait till 2010. |
