I have known Phil professionally and personally for many years. As many previous posters have noted, he was EXTREMELY attentive to his patients, often spending an hour or more in the office with visits, as well as long hours in the hospital.
The problem stems ( I believe) from falling under the influence of a certain individual who took him in very bad directions for financial gains.
Nearly any quick money plot seems to have been considered, regardless of the risks or ramifications.
You were used Phil, you know by who, and so does she. Your patients saw the difference in the practice and the way patients were treated in the office and on the phone once she came along, look how many patients you lost in the last two years that you were practicing.
Sorry to lose an otherwise good doctor, I can only say that SHE should be in jail too...or did you take the hit for her too.....I'm sure she'll be of no help to you when you get out, since by then, she'll have her claws sunk into some other poor sucker.
Good luck.
Well Jim you sure got that right!!!
She certainly is a PEACH, that one!I truly believe Phil will be alright in the end. His spirits are good & he still has true friends behind him.

please enough with this garbage ! I have known dr.Mach for almost 4 yrs,and there is no way the man is involved with this scam.
Between seeing his 1800 local patients, how can anyone have the time to write 77,000.00 scripts.
The doctor is a very busy man and to even think he would risk his good name for 7 cents a script is not even thinkable.
The reason why he is still licensed is because he

is an innocent man,not also to even think that it

would take 4 yrs, 24 hours aday to write all those scripts. I hope when Doctor mach is cleared, although his good name is already ruined because of the because of some news reporter is bored and has nothing better to do.
If the Doctor was guilty i'm sure the state would have already pulled him from his practice. If you want to read about bad doctors, go and read the press articles about two doctors named Fernando Rodriguez of belle meade or doctor eatough of Keansburg n.j.
more, are you the john doran from cedar ridge ??

He's released in the beginning of June and yes he will be able to get his license to practice back.
It will most likely not be for 3-5yrs, but say
your prayers for him and maybe it will be sooner!

Shelbi, thank you for the advice. We've made contact with Dr. Weingarten and the records have been located. Thanks for your help. Both my parents and I were patients of Dr. Mach. His courtesy, professionalism and knowledge were all second to none. He phoned my mother plenty of times on a weekend to see how she was feeling. Yes, he DID care about his patients. No question about that. However, he could have and possibly may have, hurt somebody by doing what he did. He is no different than the guy on the street pushing drugs. He broke the law and deserves whatever penalty is "prescribed" for him.
So you located your records and now you admit he DID care about his patients...You hypocritical butthead!

Anybody know if Dr. Mach was released from prison and if he got his license back. Is he back in New Jersey? My understanding was that he was to serve 18 months. He should be released by now. I would like to contact him if anyone knows where he is?? Please reply. He took care of my mom. She has since passed away (not under his care) and I would like to contact him to let him know. I miss him terribly as a great doctor and person.

I was a former patient of Dr. Mach and agree with those who recognized his compassion and attentiveness to his patients. I understand that he is now a trainer in a health club. Does anyone know where he can be found?

Does anyone know anything about Dr. Mach as of today 4/1/12. He was a great Dr. once Sonny stopped working for him things went down hill.He got involved with a take charge person who changed everything. If he were to practice again I would go back to him in a heart beat providing he no longer had ties with the one who ruined it all.

Ty ty ty...I said that there was something fishy once she showed up. We lost having the privilege of a GREAT DOCTOR AND WONDERFUL MAN. He "figured out" my asthma when no one else could. He taught me practices that to this day I still use. Every time I try to find another Dr, he doe not match up to Dr. Mach. I was one of those patients who noticed the difference in care once she came along. I said something. Didn't make a difference. Didn't like her from day 1. Came on line today because once again I have a medical condition that could use his expertise, advise, caring. Jim, if and when you talk to him just let him know that there are patients out here still wishing he was practicing. Thank you
