What's wrong with him as a coach?

What the team needs is pitching. Lots of kids want to be a star but don't want to put in the time it takes. I think the coach isn't a game time coach. I don't know how he is in practice. I have coached a lot of fastpitch softball and I believe how the game goes is a direct reflection on how the coach runs practice. It doesn't help a coach when his#1 pitcher quits during the season. I also think there are a lot of parents who need to get behind a coach it is a tough job. It's especially tough when the talent isn't there. It also also doesn't help when parents let there kids quit because they got their feelings hurt.

Request a sitdown with the high school ad & coach stone and voice your concerns directly. Don't take the coward act of posting here....man up and be polite

mr. resident you should ask the players about practice? there is good reason when the no.1 pitcher quit the team that there is real trouble with the coach? coach Stone wanted to bring back respect to caldwell county softball. i dont thank it will ever change with him !!!1

I used to play ball for coach stone and unless he's changed he is a wonderful coach - he played the ones with the talent and determination! He valued hard work and you earned your spot rather than relying on who u are or what ur family can bring to the table! When I played for coach Stone we had a blast but we also got the job done! As a matter of fact, I would of never quit the high school team if he would have been in charge!

who are his assistants?

Unless things have changed. He's an awesome coach. I'm also a former player and agree with the other former player above. He plays the players with the determination and talent. It didn't matter to him how much money you had or what your last name was, you earned your playing time and your spot. If you didn't do your part of course he would ride your a$$. But those are the coaches that care.

Everybody starts off alittle rough but then it gets better. The girls will pull out and the coach will get them where they need to be..

coach stone didnt let his girls play for the last coach!then when he became coach he said will have more girls come out for the team now!his girls, i think that is why team is playing so bad they all know whats going on look who pitching now his girl its all about the stones ,it want change !!!

Not a chance!

A coach can only do so much. If the talent isnt there then the wins are going to be hard to come by. Id also like to see the softball team be a state contender, but honestly that just isnt realistic anymore in Caldwell County. The softball teams of the late 90s and early 2000s were very very special and also very very rare for this area. That much talent will probably never be seen in Caldwell County again. Also, those girls lived for softball. They put in time practicing on their own when the coach was nowhere around. Coach Stone probably isnt as good as Coach G, but the players arent as good as they used to be either.

there talent there we need someone to get all togeather need a coach to hit balls to the outfield instead of seting in a chair feeding a pitching machine all pratice!!!!!!!!!!
