Isn't Steve Wallace the guy who coached an all-star team a couple of years back? If so, you sure as hell don't want that idiot as a coach.

Why would he? He will stay for one more year because he still has family on the team next year.

Last year they had 3 wins and this year they won 6 or 7. They are improving.

With a 19-54 career record, it won't be long before Christian Co. snatches him away from Caldwell.

We have had more wins than last year. So obliviously were improving and if you look at the scores we only lose by one or two.. So for just look at the wins or losses.. Plus just bc I'm still playing doesn't mean he might not coach a couple years after I graduate.

Out of 22 losses this year, 3 of them were by 1 or 2 runs. And yes all 3 of those teams were horrible.

Jolee has been talkin about getting involved with the youth of the community when he gets out. Maybe softball would be a good avenue to try. Seems there is a need.

Jessie, I am proud of you as well as both your sisters. Please do not let this site get to you. What people don't understand is it takes years of dedication to the sport from all team members to be able to have a winning season. The softball program has been in a rebuilding phase for a while now. The team is not going to ever get better if all the players don't put forth the time to get involved as youths and practice off season. The surrounding counties know what it takes to produce a winning team and season, Caldwell doesn't. Instead they want to lay blame with the coach. Johnny has no control over what these girls do or don't do off season and he can't produce a winning team from a bunch of girls that are not veteran players. He has done well under the circumstances though. Keep up the good work and tell your parents I said hello.

thank you, and I will. If they look at the jv records they had a lot of wins so when they become varciyty are wins will Come more. We are still having players come and go so till we have a solid team we will still be a okay team. Give it a couple years and Caldwell might win the district again

Heard a rumor that a group went to council meeting this wk bout a middle school softball team and that it got rejected. Wonder why and is this true? Wouldn't that help the program? Heard stone was against it.
did you hear it from him?.. He has middle schoolers on the team so why do we need a middle school team?
<qu oted text>Why would you not need a middle school team? That only strengthens a high school program and sounds like a great idea. Probably just a rumor though but if Stone rejected it he's an idiot.
the middle schoolers are on the high school team. Not a lot of middle schoolers tryout that can make it. And when they play against girls that are older and better it makes them better. If you don't play good quality teams then they would never get better. That's why some of them get varcity experience
