The Times Leader reports that Rodney Heaton is suing Janet Tandy, Brenda Gaston-Goodwin, Sherry Ward Fralick, and Patsy Tucker for engaging n a "civil conspiracy to defame, humilate, and slander" Heaton.

This action is the latest developmet in the controversy regarding Abigail Tucker.

Sounds like a school bully that got punched in the eye running off to tell. All the corrupt things that man has done and is doing. He got called out in it and now he wants to cry.

I think it is hilarious that those asshats now have to defend his suit. Just wondering why he didn't sue "Our Abby". Hopefully these idiots will just go away now.

Sounds to me like he finally got a belly full of hearing that crap. Maybe now we'll have four more "rescuing _______" face book pages. However, I'm not sure you can sell enough pasta salad to pay the legal fees for four more innocent defendants who have fallen victim to the evil, corrupt Caldwell County powers that be.
Unfortunately, some people have to learn the hard way that it is often best just to keep your mouth shut.

The Abby people should just admit defeat and slink off quietly before they make Rodney really mad.

Sometimes it's just better to cut your losses.

Let's see Rodney really mad. Maybe- just maybe he can make himself look like a bigger dumass than his frivolous lawsuit does. To sue because the felony conviction of an elected magistrate (which is public record) is brought into the public eye is priceless. If there's slinking off to be done, I dont see where its Abby's bunch that's gonna be doing it.

I woke up to read it on the front page and almost fell over laughing do hard. Them dumb bitches don't knOw when to keep their mouths shut and now maybe they will have to pay for what they say. Rodney has been mature bout this matter and not slandered anyone but these idiots have written it down. I hope they go down with Abby.

Genius - I do respect your opinion, but disagree. Bringing public records, in this case a felony conviction, doesn't seem to qualify as 'slander' as this is fact, evidently by the bar set by our court system. If one desires to be a public, elected official, one needs to be prepared to deal with the skeletons we all have in our closets. Its part of the deal. Should they have done it? Probably not.....but it is what it is- factual. There is a big crowd that claims Rodney was the start of Abby's mess. I dont know whether or not that's true.....but if it is, it seems that IF Rodney wants to play lumberjack, he needs to learn how to handle his end of the log.

Rodney does not have a damn thing to do with this this investigation was going on before Ridney was elected. Abby just needed to point the finger at someone do she did. She's been fired from every other job she's ever had for lying and stealing what makes you think it's any different now. I'm not saying Rodney is a saint and I know he's done wrong so has everyone but stealing from the county for years and getting caught was the icing on the cake. There are 10000 people in this town maybe and 30 support her then that means 95% don't give a fuck about her. The women should not have handed out papers with Rodney's ss number on it. People can use that number to get credit cards, etc.... Abby has no credit she will go down like these ladies will. Next time act like Rodney and use your mind before you talk.

I think I'd rather be on Rodney's end of the log than the other.

I'm confused. What does a lawsuit Rodney was involved in, have to do with the charges againest Abby? Twelve citizens, members of a Grand Jury, found enough evidence to believe she should be charged with a crime. Who cares who or what brought attention to her alledged wrongdoings?? I want to hear both sides in a court of law, not listen to a group of Abby supporters continually blaming one person and acting like he or his family shouldn't be treated as fairly as you want Abby to be. I haven't heard Rodney or his family publically say anything about Abby. I'm beginning to think we need a "rescue Rodney" cookout and help pay for his attorney. What's fair is fair!

Fishing- I do agree that the courtroom is the place for this. All the jockeying beforehand is all BS. But as far as rescuing Rodney, if some citizens of Caldwell are willing to help that fine gentleman & do fundraising for him, so be it. I hope that line is longer than it seems like it will be.
