You're not exactly talking a Twinkie or Little Debbie here. You pay for what you get.

I agree completely, I just didn't care for hers. I love GiGi's in Nashville, even though GiGi's cost more, but they are bigger and much more tasty.

Me and my kids tried them today and we picked 4 different flavors so we would have a variety and I got to say the wedding cake cupcake was pretty good but the dreamsicle, mocho chocolate, and the maple bacon not so much. My kids that would normally eat just about anything would not even eat them. I expected them to be an oversize cupcake for the lost but instead they were about the size you would make at home (if not smaller). I usually try to buy from local businesses but I don't see me or my family going back anytime soon unfortunately.

Precisely why nothing of any quality lasts here. People complain about everythng being too expensive and not enough of it. Perhaps you'd like an all you can eat $3.99 cupcake "buffet".

I have NO problem paying a higher price for something I like. I will be the first to admit I have expensive taste but I am not gonna pay $15 for 6 cupcakes when 4 of them got thrown away. I didn't throw them away cause they cost to much or were too small and I even admitted that the wedding cake cupcake was good with the almond flavoring but I threw them away because the others did not have a good taste. So PENNILESS unless you have personally tried a variety of cupcakes (as I did) then I feel you should not judge me for giving my opinion. Something I learnt a long time ago is that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and you should not JUDGE their opinion unless you have been in their shoes. These people giving opinions on their experience with the store/product.. and yours come from ??

And in Princeton style you will be rejoicing at her demise. We dont want anyone to succeeed here because then it will make his feel that much worse about our own wretched, worthless lives.

Amy, I tried almost every "cupcake" flavor--bought 2 dozen the other day. They were delicious. Every single one of them. SO don't tell me you have expensive tastes; quite the contrary. You're just a food simpleton with cheap tastes. Stuck to the Little Debbie fudge rounds and oatmeal pies/

I can gorge on any food as long as they take my EBT card.
Oh and I just like to hear myself b!tch.
You would know that already if you would just check out any of my many incessant ramblings sprawled all over Topix.

Don't hate the hater, hate the game! She gave her opinion, and you gave yours, now let it be without the belittling of another. I'm sorry, but this town doesn't know of an upper class business, because this town is simple. Poster was right, those prices are outragous, I would not pay 2.50 per cupcake WTH? REALLY? Go to the dollar store buy a box of cake mix and make your own, 24 cupcakes total cost.. including frosting about 3.00!

We live in lean times, I would have rather saw a consignment shop or something to benefit others rather than a cupcake shop, lets get a real bakery in town!

Y'all don't have to worry about me. Penniless can say what she wants about me..her OPINION !! At least when I give my opinion I don't have to belittle other people to feel better about myself!! And it sure must be great that she opened the shop especially for you since it is only open Thurs- Sat for the rest of the public but I am sure your cupcakes from "the other day" were delicious!!

Do you think we are stupid enough to believe you bought 2 dozen cupcakes and ate every single one of them? Anyone that would spend $60 on cupcakes is the crazy one! Not to mention from your previous post (and other posts throughout topix) we can all tell you are liar. You should be ashamed of yourself for judging other because of their opinion. Atleast some of these people have the courage to post their names with their opinions but unfortunately for you it shows your character to not even have the courage to display your name as you try to make others feel bad about themselves. I really pity you and may GOD have mercy on your soul!

Think is exactly right---this town is simple. We don't want anything nice. And yes we definitely need another consignment shop to sell other people's $hitty hand me down clothes. We sure don't need anything nice around here when "simple" will do. Yep go to the Dollar Store and make your own.

funny...at many NYC bakeries you would pay $5-10 and sometimes more for a cupcake.$2.50 would be a steal there.

You can't compare Ky to Ny!
Mcdonalds workers make 15.00 an hour in NYC
You can either buy the cupcakes or not.
Like the cupcakes or don't.

Good luck Ms. Luvits Cupcake Factory
