You know its funny how all these people are getting laid off at Schneider, but if you take a good look at a lot of the ones that have lost there jobs and a lot of the ones that haven't there is something wrong. I have seen many who have been very loyal to this place and done a great job and they have been let go. Then there are those few that are in positions that they don't deserve, or get into trouble all the time and don't come to work and they still have jobs. Huh..... wonder how that can be. In a society like todays I would think that a company having to lay off employees would keep the ones that are in the best interest of the company. Amazing how a relationship with someone higher than you can get you what you want. I am sick of hearing about some of the good workers getting the shaft and the ones that don't deserve it are keeping there jobs. Well Karma... Thats all I can say!

A lot of my friends work at Schneider's. In fact, one of my best friends was one to get laid off.

Karma you say? I wish I had some of Schneider's Karma. And you should hope for some of that Karma.

The friend that was laid off came to work on time every day. She did her job well. She still was laid off.

But, unlike you, she understands that the particular job she was hired to do has suffered in today's economy. They simply can't afford to pay someone for sitting in a chair. Hopefully things will pick up and she will go back to work. She loved working there and would return in a heartbeat.

People who complain and find blame are usually unhappy and can find something wrong with ANY situation. You are just NOT the sort of person I would want to spend eight hours a day working next to.

Perhaps it isn't Karma. Perhaps they are weeding out people no one wants to work next to.

i find this to be very funny because whom ever this maybe that posted this has no facts under their belt. People that are in higher positions must have proven themselves to that company and are loyal. How can you say having a relationship with someone higher will get you what you want do you know anything about this place because i know for a fact that there is no person having a relationship with any upper managment so maybe you should know your facts before you write something. LW Schneiders is a great company to work for and they take care of their employees with this economy today yes they had to lay off people..did they want to..NO! Do you know anything more than just rumors probably not otherwise you wouldnt write something like this. The operators that are still working have proven that they are there for that company not just a pay check it maybe be hard for some people to realize this. I personally have talked to people who were fired and told them about this and they are angry yes they were fired not layed off and they still care about this company because they got fired for their own actions. I dont know who you are but you obviously know nothing about this company, the owners and the employees!!

i agree with the comment before the one i left alot of those people let go we all were friends with and it was sad to see them go but the fact is that they do understand!!!

Now if you would have payed attention... Did I say ALL the good ones were let go...NO I DID NOT!!!!! How do I know?? I work there!!!!... Why would I say this. BECAUSE I SAW A FEW GIRLS THAT GOT LET GO BEFORE ME EVEN THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN KEPT ON THEY DESERVED TO BE THERE. Then I spoke to a friend who I could not believe she still had her job because she is never there and she told me something I don't agree with... Quote comment on relationships... Did I say what kind of a relationship....NO I DID NOT!!!!! Maybe instead of shooting your mouth off like you did you would sit back like an adult and 1. realize that this is a site for people to express there opinions and 2. if you disagree ask them why instead of acting like a 5 yr old having a temper tantrum. This is where discussions take place and people may be able to change the mind of someone who might of had the wrong opinion, but when people like you act like this.... those of us who are adults ignore your childish crap. I don't get on this very much because to tell you the truth its boring... I had a bad day and needed to blow off some steam. Everyone has the right to an opinion. Get over it, or shut it, Simple.

This is not simply venting. It is placing a post for the world to see, on a very sensitive subject. If you can not handle what others have to add in response to your post, then perhaps you should choose to vent in a more private manor. That to me seems like common sense. I too work at L.W.S. I have seen friends go. I have seen people leave that I would rather were still there. Not everything makes sense when you do not see the whole picture and very few people will ever see that picture. I know it is not my place to talk badly upon people who have been forced to make very hard decisions. You have no sensitivity to the fact that management has something extremly hard to do. I could not do that. I could not decide who stays and who goes. It is troubled times and hard things must be done.
In my opinion, your last post makes you a hypocrate. You are saying you have the right to vent, which is true, but understand it seems that you yelled back with your own tantrum. One which included insulting terms. You have behaved in an identical manor, if not lower. To Why not- I highly agree with you.

nobody is shooting their mouths off im just simply stating my opinion and there has been people let go that did get along with upper management very well. Childish crap??? hmm its not childish im stating facts that i know and sticking up for a company that many people love to work for. You are true everybody has their right to their opinion and im station my opinion well facts lol!! obvioulsy you and others need to get over it or shut it.

All you gotta do is have sex with Jim Meyers and you can have your job there indefinitely. Hell, you might even get promoted to supervisor.
