I feel for the homeowner and the emotional roller coaster he will go through. I also hope no one second-guesses his actions and finds the shootings fully justified. I would wager the break-ins on Ransom Street and the surrounding streets stop for a while. Another reason for fully supporting the 2nd Amendment. Criminals are much less likely to enter a home when they aren't sure whether the homeowner is exercising all of their personal freedoms.

I think it is about time everyone talking about a recession but the ones that are out there working hard day in and day out seem to be overlooked. I think it is about time for homeowners to say that they will not be a victim anymore. I am behind them all the way and if someone wants to take your property you should have the right to defend it.

if everyone had a gun they would think twice about breaking into your home

There you go with the news already talking to a family member saying that the criminal was a good guy. Yes I am sorry that his life was taken but come on people, he broke into a house and payed the price! I am glad to see the home owner take action and protect his family! God bless the Second Amendment!

I'm glad this woman stood up and protected her home and life. I feel more people need to take control of their own. I also, believe that capital punishment should be in all states. this would stop the crimes rates or at least lower them. Criminals would think tiwce to doing crime if they knew what the out come would be if caught. 2 thumbs up for the lady in Petersburg..

Unfortunately capital punishment poses little threat to these criminals. The justice system has taken that punishment and given the criminal more and more rights and appeals. So, he's able to sit on death row for years tormenting his victims whenever he so wishes. The justice system is totally broken and we are all too busy being politcally correct rather than dealing with the issue at hand. |

1 Imagine an intruders shock if greeted by a vise like grip on both nipples and a hard twist. It's foolproof. |

I know the guy and the family and he has been in trouble many times before so this was not a random act on his behalf |

I know the family and this was not his first brush with the law.
