Calvert County: Too developed to be rural?

We moved to Prince Frederick four years ago.....we loved it. But the the last two years have proved to be such a disappointment. Prince Frederick has now become Waldorf....lots of traffic, too many people that don't live here, and too much building going on. We have plans to move this spring.

I was born & raised in Prince Frederick. To be honest, I'm glad you're moving! I hate all the people and traffic. Calvert County isn't county anymore. I wish we could stop the building all together. We are only becoming Waldorf because of people like YOU!!!!!

Calvert County still is a beautiful county, but at the rate were going, it won't be for long.

Why do you people even come here. Buying those huge homes on those huge lots. You just sit inside every evening & weekend. Obviously you don't enjoy the outdoors.

So, please get together with some of your little Huntingtown groupie moms and maybe you all can move together. This would make everyone happy!!

By any chance are you one of those Huntingtown/Plum Pt. Elem. school moms? Do you live in one of those Huntingtown communities? PS: You are ALL CRAZY!!!

to PF native i jus wanna say i LOVE your response. i've felt the same way for years now...people need to LEAVE!! give us back our county!....make it country again!

Born and raised in Calvert and left in the early 90s. Smartest thing I ever did.

To many people moved in and now they complain. Get out, go back where you came from. Give us our count back!
