Plan now to join us for the July 4th Tea Party to be sponsored by Northwoods Patriots

A newly formed group of concerned citizens from the Eagle River, Wisconsin area are sponsoring a July 4th Tea Party to be held at the Eagle River Snowmobile Derby Track. The event will be one of over 1,262 Tea Parties that are scheduled across the country for that date. The July 4th Tea Parties are being held to protest the out of control spending our government is currently engaging in with a 4 times larger deficit then just 6 months ago.

Let's see .... who put us in this mess? Yup! Bush! Where were you people the past 8 years when the budgets and deficits were out of control? Where were you when Bush gave monies to the banks with NO STRINGS attached? Where were you people when the war on Iraq reached epic cost?

Now you want to critique another president who is trying to fix this mess. Please go tea party somewhere else. Plus, please look up the popular meaning of tea parties! I, for one, am happy that he is looking after the middle class. It's about time someone did!

THINK
PART OF THE PROBLEM OR PART OF THE SOLUTION?

If this Fanny Mae,Freddy Mac situation was a republican mess we, would have seen congressional investigators grilling said offenders right up to election day.
But that hasn't happened, has it? If anything John McCain sounded the warning about this mess FOUR YEARS ago.
All the while the democrats said there is NO problem.

Why do you suppose the democrats wouldn't want regulations on Fann and Fred?
Even ex-President Clinton admitted that the Democrats were guilty of destroying Fannie and Freddie... and responsible for the current crisis that threatens to bring the entire U.S. economy to the brink of recession: I think that the responsibility that the Democrats have may rest more in resisting any efforts by the Republicans and the Congress or by me when I was President to put some standards and tighten up a little on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Who were the top recipients of Fannie Mae's money? The top three were:
Chris Dodd (D-CT),
Barack Obama (D-IL)
and John Kerry (D-MA).
And where are these Fannie Mae executives now?
Franklin Raines ($90 million in compensation): Economic Adviser to Barack Obama
Jamie Gorelick ($26 million): Major Democratic Fundraiser
James Johnson ($21 million): Adviser to Barack Obama

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Leo

If you ask someone to give you a hand today, don't be surprised if they make a mess of it. That's probably because their mind isn't on the job, but it might also be because your instructions aren't as clear as usual. So before you get angry, check that what you said made sense. Relations with someone older or more influential than you could also be blighted by confusion or doubt now.
