Two Hempstead officials face federal bribery charges

FBI agents today arrested Hempstead's mayor pro tem and a city alderman on charges of accepting $13,000 in bribes in exchange for steering federally-funded demolition work to a contractor.

Yeah, everybody had something to say about R. Glen Smith being corrupt. What about now? It seems corruption is all over the area. I bet more is yet to come.
