How do you get on this gravy train? I thought the farm program were to help "poor" farmers, not for rich investors....How can these people accept this money in good conscience. Now, if they are using their land for non-profit, then I guess it would be different. How many of these people use their land for camps or education programs?

I find it amusing that people get down on these folks for taking advantage of a program that the government put in place. These people probably pay more in taxes every year than most people make. I don't blame them for wanting to get some of it back. If you want to go after someone for these payments, why don't you go after the politicians that continue to support its existance. I guarantee you that every one of these people would gladly give up these payments for a fair and equitable tax structure.

I cant afford a new vehicle because of the taxes I pay on the land, the high prices of chemicals I have to buy and pay to be applied to validate this CRP program.
I also cannot afford to buy a new vehicle on the cash for clunkers program, which I assume none of the negative posts on this site have taken advantage of.
