New Search in Leo Lanci Case

i was raised in moundsville, now live on long island new york, hello if you are not finding anything guess what? drug deal gone bad.

Well all I know is that i just buried my nephew and no matter what we all say it will not bring him back to any of us. He was a good kid and somehow I do not think that we will ever know what has happened to him. R.I.P Leo I will love and miss you forever.....

Why is it the family has not contacted the sheriff in regards to this case? Why are they not demanding to find out what happened?
Why was Leo in the area? Someone knows something.
I think the family knows more than they are letting on.

Maybe you should know what u are talking about before u say anything.... The sheriff has not given us any info. How could u even think that there is more that we know. They have not given us nothing to go on at all. It is very frustrating to not have any answers at all as to what has happened to Leo.

The sheriff told me that anytime he has contacted the family, he initiated the calls.
And the question remains, why was Leo in Marshall County? The sheriff said he got on a bus in NY that was headed to LA. Where was he going and how did he end up in Cambridge the next day?

I guess my point is that, surely, the family had to know why Leo left NY, stayed in or around Marshall County, returned to NY then returned to Marshall County.

The family should contact the local tv stations and newspapers to ask the public for more information.

Obvioulsy the sheriff knows more than he is telling us. We are told nothing but what I have said. He never got on a bus from NY heading to LA as far as we know. This is news to me. You give me the answers as we have none.

The information is all in the stories done by local news media in the area. I think you can find them by doing a google search of Leo's name.

Obviously if the family knew why he left New York, they would not have reported him missing. Who are you and why would the sheriff even entertain your questions when you called if you don't know anything about the situation? You seem to have invested a lot of time commenting on this situation, perhaps you know something his family doesn't. If so, why don't you share your info and maybe his family can find some closure in this case. Everyone is so quick to point their finger, however, we should all try and put ourselves in Leo's families shoes and try and understand how this tragedy must feel. RIP Leo!

Well actually we do not know why he wound up there at all. He has no friends or family there so we are all stumped also

I'm just someone who finds this whole mystery intriguing and I want to find out what happened. If I could find contact information for a family member, I would call them.
This happened in my home, and, being the small town area that we are, finding a body in that manner is unorthodox here.

I knew leo he was a good boy. If anyone knows something they would say where he was going and what he was doing. Obviously no one knows hopefully something will come up soon about what happened to him .. Rip leo

How did you know Leo??? Anything would be so much appreciated to us now. He was a good boy and it is so sad... all this that has happened and still no answers as to why he was there.....

Sorry for being rude before, just the fact that everyone automatically jumps to drugs makes me angry. I knew Leo very very well, and I know he didn't do drugs before he left. I really loved him for a good 7 years, and he might have had something wrong in his head but he wasn't an idiot and he wasn't going to just go somewhere and lay down and die. He did like to wander around, so I can see him leaving and having plans to do something ridiculous, that a normal person would have known would never happen but he was optimistic and thought he could do anything. But he wouldn't just give up, he would have called someone. Please just don't jump to conclusions and blame Leo's death on Leo, because I don't think he had anything to do with it.

Hi Amy, I remember Leo mentioning your name. You are so right about all the things you say about him.... He did think he could do anything, and no harm would come to him at all. He is so missed. When he was growing up he spent alot of time at my house with my son Chris, they were very close. Unfortunately at the time all this happened my son was away and Leo had no way to get in touch with him. I really do believe with all my heart that if Chris(my son) was around he may have contacted him to help him with what was going on in his life.Everyday he is missed so much and always in all of our thoughts. I don't know why I keep coming back to here, maybe in the hopes of finding some kind of answers to WHERE IS LEO & WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BEAUTIFUL NEPHEW!!!!! Everyday goes by and it kills me to not know the truth of what happened??? I love you leo and will always hold you close to my heart..... Aunt Nikki
