I can explain why the 'New Generation' will never come close to the "Greatest Generation".
It's a direct effect of the dumbing down of American education. I am not the only person who see's the outcome as a bad one. wtf is my proof; the link below is my supporting evidence.

The younger generation is not dumber, nor less educated,it is tied into many changes. The Federal Gov`t took over education as a direct result of many States not doing their jobs about 2-3 generations ago. That was then a leveling out,and education for all. Then as time passed the Fed.Gov `t has done no better than the States back then.In trying to have all equal, they have every one as less educated to satisfy the leveling. When we have to have remedial reading,English classes, math classes, now, before the younger folks can handle the college classes. When we have children coming out of High School unable to read or do math at even an 6-8 th. grade level, the Feds have also failed.Hopefully now, with the advent of Charter Schools, maybe the States and the Fed gov`t butt out except for financially help to the students to afford to go,maybe this change has reached it`s time!!Again, this comes from a non educator, just a conservative onlooker.

They are deliberately not educating them properly!
Remember the days when we studied the three R's in school: Reading,(W)riting and (A)rithmetic?

This lady graduated from a Public High school in AZ and was also born in this country...http://www.youtube.c om/watch?v=M-LWw0qFVfk

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Capricorn

You feel like overindulging yourself in some way today, and why not? Throw caution to the wind and eat your way through a big bar of chocolate, or have a retail therapy session that leaves you reeling from the amount of money you've spent. There's a definite chance you could get carried away and tell a whopper of a story that has little resemblance to what really happened. What on earth has got into you?
