Good move on the elect Laycock team. You get the stupid people on here that don't know it's you to read all the comments that the 3 of you started and continue with. Posting as though you are just concerned. Smart move to run trash ads for free against your opponent.

As you said - that's the way you see it. I still think that is awfully narrow minded. You sound full of hate. Both sides can watch any news they want. You are just over the top!!

When bush left office the dow was at 6700 and falling, country was in the worst recession since the great depression, people had lost their life savings, every aspect of our great nation was in decline, Today the dow is near 13000, the banks are back on their feet, houses are selling, car sales at an all time high, unemployment below 9 percent and still droping, and people are feeling like there is hope again. I would hate to go back to republican leadership that has same ideas as bush. The old lets cater to the rich and let it trickle down, hurt all working citizens, the rich is still laughing at that one.

To Concerned in Muhlenberg: I can only hope that someday all the hope you have in Mr. Obama comes true but I truly believe you will be very disappointed. "The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of everyone else's money."-- Margaret Thatcher If I miss quoted please forgive me. Voting straight Democrat is very reckless. Just because someone is affiliated with a political party does not mean that person has good ideas for growth or has the best interest of the voting public in mind. All I am challenging individuals to do is to do some research and find out some background info about a candidate before just pulling a lever. Muhlenberg county is one of the only counties I usually see so many "Vote Straight Democrat" yard signs. I have worked for a union and outside of a union and there are good and bad ideas with both. If the unions are so great why are there so many scab coal mines in Muhlenberg and Hopkins county now? Also where were the unions over the last 25 years in the county? When there money train ran out so did they on every hard working man and woman who had devoted their lives to them only to be left on the side of the road with a picket sign you couldn't sell, eat, or pay your bills with. Stop blaming someone else for your problems and you stand up and change your life and stop waiting on some sleazy politician to give you a hand out. Sorry if that seems rude and harsh but that's what we need a good dose of is some harsh reality. Until we realize the political leaders in our county do not care for anything, but your vote the better off we will be. I could rant all night but I will shut up for now. Sorry for the rambling.

The worst shape in history, and now after 3 years all the republicans hopes the voters have memory loss, not me I remember well those terrible 8 years. President Obama is pulling us out of those dark days, I for one don't want to go back to republican leadership.

Janet Hearld and the rest of the elected officials think that they are above the law, and she goes around the speed bumps in copper creek (which are put there to protect citizens) in her cream colored Volkswagen to get to Subway to get a footlong. i know a man who has pictures of Don Hancock (former mayor of powderly) driving around rather than over the speed bumps... officials doing this really sets a good precedent for future officials and citizens of this county. I hope Mr Laycock reads this and spreads the word, and it gives him a picture of what people are looking for. As far as that goes Roadblock should not be trying to degrade anyone in this county, for the things he has done to this county, he needs to find a hole to crawl in, a strip pit would work fine considering the SIZE of things.

I think its amazing that everyone is starting to see Janet coming around and visiting but when she was sitting in her comfort zone with no one running against her you never saw her. Glad to see you come out of your shell or should I say Office Janet, but my decision is made. Time for new blood. You treat everyone like crap, in May you get yours. BYE BYE JANET.
