The people will decide when election time comes. Mrs. Herald-Brown has done a good job and her office has not had any problems that have been spoken of. This is will be a decision of the voters, both candidates are good people and both would do a good job. I hope both candidates run a good and fair campaign towards one another and knowing both of them I believe they will. Good luck to both Candidates in the upcoming election.

Seems as if everything has gone good over the years. Guess she has done an ok job. Laycock has a bunch of people working for him---asking for support. Some detrimental---others good---as usual.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! There is no reason that she needs to go. Just because someone takes a test doesn't qualify them for the job. Janet does a good job and I haven't heard of any complaints. Why knock someone out of a job when you already had one. That is just selfish!

Also she is a wonderful person.

I'd say that there are people who thinks she should go because of the way she handles her own finances; just saying.

I don't care who wins but I'd love to see the entire child support unit fired and get ppl in there that will get these deadbeat parents to pay both Mothers and fathers, instead of letting them rack up 10,000 in arrears and ppl having to hire attorneys to start getting payments because the ' Unit' wants them to comply with ' the right choice program' and continue it each month. Which the parent isn't complying I may add! Wish this county was as tough on deadbeat parents as the other KY counties are!

We need some new leadership in the county. I was in the office 4 times in the past year and never once witnessed Hearld there just like Alward at PVA office. They all come in late and leave early. I went in to renew my license there in September and tried to pay with my visa debit card from Old National and they told me they didn't except or couldn't get cards from ONB to work on there machine. I asked how long that had been going on and lady told me as long as she could remember. Why would they not get something fixed that people used from one of the largest if not the largest bank in the county. We need full-time county officials who are accessible to the public and not part-time free loaders. Full-time in most professions is 40+ hours per week. There needs to be some accountability in every public office. It's time the younger generation of Muhlenberg County stand up and take an interest and have a voice in our county government. This goes for our Fiscal Court, water department, and all other branches of local government. For too long a select few politicians have taken control of our county and its time things stop. They must realize they work for us and we do not work for them. Set some term limits on public office. I'll stop my ranting now.
