There are plenty of places in Pound that have a history of being haunted. My papaw used to live in a house at the head of Killen Holler where he would hear footsteps every night; he slept with a gun under his pillow until he moved from there. One night the footsteps stopped beside his bed. He reached up and pulled the string light on and no one was there. Yes, there are many places in Pound that are still haunted to this day. I will be interested to see the responses that you get.

If you want to see the paranormal for a few hours go down to the Wildcat at about 4-7 pm and you shall have your fill. Top it off with a night of brain-twisting TV and you are looking everywhere for "normal"...it is not to be found, here.

Are you with a paranormal group or just asking? There are some strange things in Woodrow Holler up Bold Camp. Meade holler had a haunted house near the beginning of it, but the coal company leveled it all. On foggy nights, sometimes a "person" can be seen on the 4 lane near J.W. Adams. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Hope you find what you're looking for. That's where "G" hollow is, pal. I've had a girl or two go wondering off at night down there. Combine a foggy night, a nightgown and the wild-eyed crazy look of a girl just after experiencing my...manly powers, a few beers and it COULD have been what you saw, OR you could have seen a chick walking to town after I put a move on her and got slapped. She walked a ways before letting me take her home. But that was a lifetime ago. One of the girls is dead. Really. I hate it. We were close (she didn't slap me). 1977-83...perhaps. But like my zipper was then, "G" hollow may still be open for business. TRIVIA: worth ten points: How did G hollow get its name?
