This is "Bello Auto Repair Inc." under new managment! The owner is George. and he did an excellent job on cleaning this place and keeping it clean.

I used to always take my cars to the dealerships to get serviced for many years, but lately most of these places are getting a little too pricey. At many dealerships, it seems even simple repair jobs are a bit overpriced (such as the $40 to change a tail light bulb on my Toyota Sienna and the outrageous quote to change front brake pads on my Pontiac at the local Pep Boys). Even the outrageous quote to repair our Chrysler Cirrus at the local dealership was ridiculous; (not to mention the dealership trying to convince us to buy a new car and scrap this one was annoying). I decided to stray away from the franchises and dealerships and look for a simple repair shop that does great work at a fair price. Bello's is a small shop I've discovered located in the heart of Pottstown, PA on the corner of King and Franklin Streets (across the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge). The owner was very friendly and it is a family run business. He has recently taken possession and is in the process of expanding his client-base and service center. The lot had many different makes inside its gates (Audi, Cadillac, Chrysler, Dodge, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Volvo) and it seems there was quite a variety of repairs they can handle. Within a few minutes of visually inspecting our Cirrus, he easily identified the problem and it was the same as the local dealership had diagnosed. The quote he had given us was LESS THAN HALF! of the dealership quote. The car was done in a few days and there were no extra hidden charges on the bill; what he quoted was what we paid. Months have gone by and the car runs better than ever! Since then we've taken our other cars there to get all the service work they need and we've been more than pleased with the results and saved quite a bit of money in repairs. Overall I find it quite refreshing to find a local repair shop around the corner looking out for his neighborhood. I figured I'd write this up and pass the word to help out his growing business.
