It is wonderful that the Tribe of Massasoit is seeking recognition by the State. Recognizing these people brings credit to the State of Rhode Island.

This Tribe's history is in land conservation partnerships with our local trusts and working hand and hand with the local communities.

Let's welcome them like they did for us in 1620.
