Who got killed on 348 today?

Heard there was a wreck on 348. 2 life flighted & one dead...a young kid. Anyone know anything??

I was wanting to know the same thing?! I heard the one who died was 16 or 17. Such a sad thing. If i hear anything i will comment back.

The family is actually requesting that no one post online the name of those involved as they're going through a very hard time as it is. But I guess that's blown all out of the water now. Isn't it, "Wondering"?

UPDATE 7/17/12 @ 10 p.m.
SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ)-- A Scioto County teenager died from injuries he suffered Tuesday afternoon in a car crash on Ohio 348, and two other teens were taken to hospitals with injuries, the Ohio Highway Patrol says.

Trevor Enz, 16, of Otway, Ohio, was flown to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Erin Enz, 14, also of Otway, was flown to Children's Hospital In Columbus. Her medical condition was unavailable late Tuesday night.

Autumn Phipps, 15, of Lucasville, was taken by ambulance to Southern Ohio Medical Center. She is expected to recover.

The crash happened about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on Ohio 348 near Adkins-Hoffer Hill Road in Scioto County.

Ohio Highway Patrol troopers say Trevor Enz was the driver of the car. It ran off the road, hitting a road sign and several trees

It is a tragedy.
I think under the age of 18 you should have to have an adult driver in the car with you.

I'm sorry but my parents didn't buy me a car and turn me loose at the age of 16 because they know young drivers are inexperienced and often distracted while driving.

I'm not sure who can see this through their FB account and who can't, don't really care. Couple of hours ago posted by Scioto County Storm Chasers who were actively posting info to stay away from the area throughout the incident. It's in their status. Was posted about an hour before WSAZ posted their update with names. But everyone in Scioto County has to know everything that's going on, down to the personal details, even if it doesn't effect them. As opposed to just saying "bad accident on 348, go around", it's always "who was it???"

A news site giving names is one thing, but having childrens' names plastered on Topix where someone could possibly decide to be an ass (we all know that happens here) is a bit irresponsible, IMO.

That area is all country roads....winding & curvy. People fly on those roads. I know, I lived there for many years. People get comfortable in thinking they "know" the roads because they travel them daily. It only takes ONE tiny mistake/error to cause an accident. I wrecked out there myself & was life lifted. Keeping the family in thoughts & prayers.

People ask because they might be acquainted with those involved. In this case, who would not sympathize with the family and friends of the kids? Everyone feels sorrow for them.

My posts were "judged" crazy because I would rather do what the family wished. lol, You people are incredible.

This was a horrific tragedy and the family needs support & prayer. Nobody asked for the "details" and NONE are posted. Are they?? Back up & regroup. Nobody is trying to be hurtful or harmful. ESPECIALLY ME!!
