The Republican Tea Party Leadership has embraced the teachings and philosophy of the Atheist Author Ayn Rand. To understand the intentions of the Tea Party Leadership, take a long hard look at Ayn Rand. Ayn Rand was born Alisa Rosenbaum, to non-practicing Jewish parents in Russia in 1905, Rosenbaum changed her name to Ayn Rand and was educated in a Russian Communist University, and emigrated to the United States in 1926.
Ayn Rand was blown away by the lavish lifestyles of New Yorkers in the "Roaring Twenties." Ayn Rand fell madly in love with UNrestricted Capitalism, and the industrial and business tycoons of her day. Ayn Rand wrote books, one of which was "Atlas Shrugged," defending the selfishness and greed of her tycoon heroes. Those books were Ayn Rand's passport into New York High Society. Ayn Rand wrote several essays on the "Virtue of Selfishness," that have been organized into book form. Ayn Rand made a lot of money from book sales and from speaking engagements.

Ayn Rand despised the poor and the working class.
Ayn Rand said, "The poor and the working class are Parasites feeding on the wealth accumulated by their intellectual superiors."

Ayn Rand despised Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, and all other Social Safety net Programs, and she wanted them all abolished.
Ayn Rand said, "Social Security and Unemployment Insurance are Hammocks that the people relax in, and these programs encourage laziness and a reluctance to work in the people."

Ayn Rand despised Christianity because it teaches Love and Compassion, attributes that Ayn Rand thoroughly detested.
Ayn Rand said, "Christianity is a sign of weakness in a Capitalist Society."

How can you guys stomach bs propaganda articles like that? I mean, I read the first link from Waverly, and wow, not a single, meaningful fact.
I liked one quote though, "As long as this is a party of men who seek power, rather than fight for principles seared into their souls, then the Republican Party stands for nothing other than being the opposing party to the Democrats."

Then post rebuttals of the facts you disagree instead of your opinion.

Oh, I agreed with whole article, because there's no facts with which to disagree. It's an emotional plea, tugging on your heart strings, and all based on his 'traveling on six Tea Party Express national bus tours'.

The goal is clear: Diversify themselves from the 'Occupy' people, by stating that no violence had occurred at their rallies. To conclude that because no violence occurred at their rallies, that they must be more value driven.

Oh yes we would all want to stand by a group that defecates on police cars, rapes women, leaves enough trash to fill the dump, tears up and destroys property just to name a few. Now that's the group we can all strive to be like. Sure.

Ayn Rand sounds like a scuzzball all right but there are a lot of people on Social Security who are able to work and won't. It's not a sin to be poor but even Jesus said that we would always have the poor among us. A person can only do so much and even if one gives everything they have to the poor, the poor will still keep coming. It's a no win situation. There comes a point when one has to look out for themselves otherwise they become poor themselves and add to the problem.

This woman couldn't hold a candle for the crooks that Obama has backing him.
