Paramount Beauty Academy

Can anyone tell me the price to have your hair cut or nails done at PBA? I am thinking about signing up for classes but im not sure. I figure maybe i will go there as a client first. Anyone have any advice?

i went there and the place is messed up. the rules change every day and a couple of the staff have a bad attuide.The cost is not worth it.If you could go to another school i would.just my oppion. the lady that owns it has alot of law suites against her u might want to look that up.joyce godderd.good luck

Obviously you sure don't give a shit if anyone is satisfied with your work. How pathetic!! I went there for an up-doo and the skanky and SMELLY thing that tried to style my hair just basically put it in a bun on top of my head!! Hell, I could have done that myself. Not only that but the place really smelled bad. I was just there a few days ago and it was sickening. BEWARE!!!!

I just graduated from there, and yes the rules do change everyday, and the cost isnt worth it. They do screw you around on your loan money alot. You have to watch them. But on the other hand if you want to learn they will teach you, you have to stick to your self and dont get caught up in the drama. Theres a couple of instructors thats willing to teach you anything you want to know. Students thats quit going there get on here and talk crap, is the ones that get mad because they cant sit in the chairs all day and do nothing they want you up doing stuff to learn. If you want to learn they will teach you. The rules do suck there!

And also theres a new school opening up at the old lewis furniture building. Im not sure when it is opening up. But im sure its going to be awesome. The only bad thing is I heard they are not going to have any grant money for 2 years. But I would check into it before I would believe the rumors. So if you do want to go to pba good luck

I have no idea what you peopl are talking abt that place is amazing especially all the ppl that work there they worktheir butts off just to please you ppl so stop weining or go some where else.. Just saying.

Some work their butts off, not all. Some wants you to learn others just want a flippn paycheck.

So if I wanted to go to school for beauty stuff, should I not pick Paramount then? I heard the new school was opening in the summer. But I also heard it was all private pay. and how do they screw you around on your money. That does not sound legal.

They do screw you around on your money, they dont want to give it to you. Your money magically pays for stuff you've never recieved. And they have a lawsuit against them b/c they took a students ssn and filed for a loan in paramounts name. And the student had no clue until she quit and went to file her taxes. And if you want to do only the hair part paramount is a good place and i know for a fact 2 instructors will teach you. But they will make you do manicures, and pedicures along with the hair part. If you go there stay on top of your money. and whats placed onto your account. and youll be fine. As for the new school i really dont know anything about it.

So who could I ask for if I was to go there and get something done?

Yes, I would like to know who is the good ones too. All I ever wanted was to do hair and I was so excited to start. Now I just don't know.
