I've actually seen this; church members turn their head, as children are abused, because they don't want to cause a 'fuss' or risk damaging their standing in the church.

Abuse can be slapping, yelling, insulting, or depriving. A lot of church 'don't spare the rod' goers pretend to not even know what abuse is. They stay quiet for each other. As children grow up thinking that what their going through is normal and socially acceptable. That's what prevents them from coming forward.

He is really an evil individual. So self centered and a sociopath. He has destroyed many lives and he loves the attention. He destroyed my best friend. He doesn't seem to talk about how everyone has suffered because of his actions. I have been around him when he drinks. He is totally out of control.
