watched it. Thought he was being very disingenuous. Yeah, he admits to being arrested this year, but since he spoke often about his drug and alcohol abuse, this your make some believe that this was the cause for the arrest. I just wish he would have been totally truthful about what he did to get arrested (he sort of skipped over that part). Confession is good for the soul. Maybe in his next video...

It's all about choices!
When you make choices in your life and they are bad choices you are the one that has to live with them..........
I have choose the "self medicating" route with booze and beer, but I choose not to use drugs or whores..........
I have no one to blame for the bad choices I have made in my life except myself..........

It's awesome how transparent he was willing to be about his life. Most people who have had similar struggles try to hide these kind of details about their life. And while some of you sit back and criticize him...hopefully this video will make a difference in the lives of others and will encourage people who are struggling with similar things. Awesome video!

Apparently people lose their value as they get older, and it's okay to exploit them then, especially if you can blame it on alcohol and ask for forgiveness afterward. I wonder if Sean would run to deliver the apology of just any ol' sex offender. I bet he would, as long as they belong to the church.
I'm just amazed by the way Churches defend their own. If that 4th street pastor had killed someone else, instead of his own self, would Gowdy still call it sinless, and blame it on mental illness? I bet he would, as long as the guy goes to church.
Once they start defending all criminals instead of just their own, I'll reconsider the self-imposed label 'hypocrites'.

That's not at all what I took away from the video? I didn't hear Blair talk about forgiveness from any person other than Christ. He was very open about his faults and sins, which takes a lot of guts. It's easy to sit behind a computer screen and bash other people....but it takes a lot of courage to make a video like this. And if you think the point of the video was so that Sean could defend Blair and deliver his apology....then I personally think you've clearly missed the purpose of it. It looks like Sean simply wanted Blair to share his life story and testimony. That's all. It wasn't 13 minutes of Blair making excuses for his latest arrest. I don't see very many people lining up to share their life story so that it can be an encouragement to others who are struggling with similar things - so I admire him for doing this. Great video!

And based on the most recent comment on YouTube...the video is already starting to make a difference:
"Great video...he seemed to had trouble getting through it. He is so right that you have to surrender all to God. I'm struggling right now with addiction and his story of a real down to earth person is an encouragement."

I see the comments are being censored. So, let's not base anything on them. http://youtu.be/kwkzFKecWRA
So what, he likes being on camera. He likes the attention. He's been a hypocrite to all those kids at camp. The camp that, we, the church members have paid for, so our kids can be around Christian youth leaders, not coke addicted sex offenders like Blair. He thinks that he can just make a video about his drug use and use it as a means to try and save face to the church he's been lying to for years. It's like he's blaming his drug use for his sex offenses.

I would love to know who all about me is. Disgruntled back row critic who has never made a mistake or sinned no doubt! Worry about you and let Blair do his thing. Like seriously, go get a dog or something. You seem bored.

Please be more sensitive before you sin by slandering people. No one has ever said, including Blair, etc. that he was sinless. So far from it. He is suffering the consequences of his actions. The initial charges were thrown out because he was innocent of them. He has confessed his struggle with alcohol and is trying to deal with the things that bring the desire on. If we're honest, we all struggle with something. Everyone who loves someone who struggles suffers--and I'm not just talking about alcohol, drugs, etc. I'm talking about food, working too much, gambling, internet porn, set, shopping, gossiping, etc. No one is perfect. I know him. I know the pain he feels for letting down friends and family. It's not fake or put on. He's not arrogant or trying to manipulate. He's trying to find some good in a very hard situation. It's OK if you don't agree. Just don't be a hater. I doubt this has effected you personally. If you want to do something positive then say a prayer for him and those who love him. Isn't that what we're called to do?

The underlying problem was alcohol. The tapes were pulled and charges dropped on the solicitation charges. I doubt you'll ever see that in the paper. Disorderly Conduct was the charge.
His struggle has been with alcohol. Actually, with anything to dull or escape. He gets there's consequences for his actions, but he's trying to work through it and find something good to come out of it. That's why he agreed to the tape. Personally, as his friend, I had a lot of mixed feelings about it--but it's his choice and if it helps him work through stuff and find his peace then I support it. Yes, you're right-confession is good for the soul and faces the consequences and trying to move forward is also part of it.

I'm not sure what church you're talking about but the camp was not for the church children. Do you realize that slander is also a sin? He is not a coke addicted sex offender and he has never pretended to be a saint. He's a human being with faults and does his best. BTW-the solicitation charge was dropped after the judge listened to the tape. It was thrown out. So, say what you want about alcohol---he has freely admitted his struggle with this for years and has been trying to work through everything else. I'm thankful we have a God who loves us, sent his son to die for us because we are ALL in need of a savior and are all sinful. I'm thankful for that. I know I'm not going to change your mind about anything but I appreciate you allowing me to share my heart.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Libra

It's one of those difficult days when anything can and will happen. Someone you were relying on might let you down, plans could be changed at the eleventh hour or a machine could go on the blink. To make matters worse, your energy levels are very erratic, so you feel full of beans one minute and ready to go to sleep the next. Don't make the situation worse by eating foods that give you a high followed by a slump.
