watched a woman tonight go off on a cashier at kroger because they could not take her food card as payment, due to some computer problem. This woman started screaming and yelling like ti was some personal attack towards just her that the cashier has viciously thought up. The little girl what was with this woman who looked to be all of maybe 6 years old, looked as though she was going to burst into tears at any moment because her mother was now screaming, " great now my kid wont be eating until you fix this!!!! I dont have any f-ing money!!!!" her total was 25 dollars. I told her I would buy her 25 dollars worth of groceries and something for dinner tonight but it had to have veggies and no junk food. The little girl ended up getting a few kid cuisines and some juicey juice boxes, some cereal and some milk. but "mom" only wanted frozen pizzas, so I bought the little girls stuff and told "mom" to take it or leave it.(snuck the little girl in a bag of m&m's for being so polite even when her mother could not)

Sadly even with a job so many people are eligible for food stamps. Just a sign of the times we're having.

Before giving her anything I would have asked if she had cigs in her pocket/purse. If she did, I would have told her to feed those to her kid.

I've hated to say this, but I can't help to think she probably returned those items once you left.

Secondly, did your purchased items get warm as you assisted the child with purchasing food?

Lastly, who in the hell has NOTHING to eat in their house? I've got pancake mix to last me for a month of meals.
well then

as much as I would have LOVED to have said something along those lines to her, It's not that sweet little girls fault her mother is a complete waste of oxygen.

i paid for them with my items as well and refused to let her have the receipt in case she did try to return them. Also, Paul who works at the service desk was made aware of the situation before I left and said that without a receipt she can only exchange them for the same product.

I know it isn't the kid's fault, but forcing the mom to beg and/or ask family members for help might make her rethink her priorities.

Wow!!! What a worthless scumbag!!!) People make me sick!!! Hate is a strong word, but every day my hate grows from observing these degenerates. They don't do anything to help themselves, and since the gvmt supports them, they feel that everyone owes them something. It sickens me.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Cancer

You have a tendency to go overboard today Cancer, whether it's eating too much food, drinking too much or taking on more than you can handle at work. You simply won't know when to stop! You're in a very sociable mood and you're also feeling very easy-going, prepared to take people at face value and to turn a blind eye to their faults and foibles. And you hope they'll do the same for you.
