I just don't understand how they don't see those adults as pushing their religion in our schools. Obviously, I'm all for letting kids make clubs, and promote themselves, but when some of them have help and others don't, this becomes unfair. I think it's supposed to be *their club, so maybe the adults, and especially the teachers, should stay out of it, and let *them organize it. Do you mean the adults were pushing the Christianity? Would you be against a Muslim Athletic Club?

How do you know the glee club doesn't get the same amount of help? Did I miss the glee club part of the article? The role of a teacher is to assist so, yes, the teachers can and should help with school club organization. What I like the most about this article is a liberal minded school principal who thinks he's educated talks down to his teachers and a liberal branch of the ACLU puts him in his place. That was great!
