well 1 since paula got in there she does not care bout anyone they have a guy working there named todd
he has
1.had hookers on the parking lot
2.he comes to work every day drunk and stoned
3.he likes to stick his dirty fingers in the food
4.he has been stroking off while he has been at work
people have complained about him time after time there are tons of write ups and phone calls bout him and yet he still has a job if this nasty man is not fired soon i will take this matter to whom ever is above golden years since paula won't do anything..so makes you wonder do paula and todd have something goin on?

I doubt they have anything going on, but they cut staff so much they are afraid to fire people. The people above them are morons. They come in our building strutting their stuff, for one reason to get everyone in trouble. They are a bunch of stupid over paid monkeys. No one takes them serious and at least 5-10 more are quitting. They will soon have nothing but losers and the flunkies in healthcare working there. A company that allows a place to work their employees to death, and place every patient in danger....no matter what they say, they are evil and deserve a place in hell.

Alot of people are leaving because there cutting staff so much, and threating to fire people if the work isn't done which is bull sh*t.

Well I return to work on Tuesday and find that they walked out the DON. From what we are being told only one manager is left and they are hiring people behind closed doors. I am looking for another job and at least 4 other floor nurses and 4-5 of us aides are looking elsewhere. I can't wait to see these new people fall flat pn there face. I and alot od the other floor staff hate where we are now. Cant wait to leave?!

I'm still employed there myself. And it has went to hell the last few months. The new administrator & DON is only worried about having items marked & checked to see who gets them, closets cleaned out, things off of floor. And us work under staffed. They don't card about our patients needs and concerns. Hell the residents aren't allowed to sit n the hallways by there rooms anymore...
Hopefully that administrator leaves soon. I heard she use to work for a juvenile judge & couldnt take the pressure. What makes them think she can handle a nursing home, pt families & state all down her throat.

There's part of the problem. The workers don't give people a chance. Previous administrator hired friend and family to protect each other and now management in turmoil because of it. Hear they are following her to her next job. Good luck with that. As far as keeping things off floor and residents sitting in hallway outside their room, I believe that is ODH standard. Sorry they want you to follow those rules. For years the union at GY complained about under staffing and turned the facility in to ODH and was told staffing was OK, they meet standards. Problem is the senior STNA's are lazy and use the union to protect their lazy ass. Watch, they only protect 3-4 STNAs and if those 4 don't want someone they do what they can to run them off. Same ones that hide in the shower room and activity room instead of resident's rooms. Read in other posts residents sitting in feces, then call ODH. Maybe then they can get rid of the lazy ones without union interference. Sad thing is, those that we are being paid to aide and protect our suffering because of our attitude laziness. Come on, lets work together and provide a great environment for our residents.

Wasn't wise in there when it was Green briar and they were shut down by state? What a joke!! I know nurses that Wise sent in that lost license d/t stealing resident's Percocets. My experience is a lot (not all) agency nurses do agency to hide incompetence or dependency. They need to get bring in good dependable workers and slowly get rid of troublemakers

Fyi the LPN name is Not a good cover up. I know almost everyone there and they all hate it and the new management. They care more about money making them patients. They even locked up the food and such not allowing staff to get it to feed people who
Cant feed themselves.

Nope. It's only there. Everyone i know that has left Are now happier, making more, and working hard with good evaluations. Maybe go back to the courthouse and fail there again.

Can't wait to see the look on their faces in the next few days. So many are looking for another job and all are nurses, and believe me there are not a lot wanting to come in and put in applications....we all talk to each other and always inform each other where not to go.

lollipop if everyone is happier that left and so better every where else then why are there those that are still staying? You say all they want to do is fire, then what is the problem? If it is that bad would it not be a blessing to not work there? Or is it back to what I said and they don't want to work. I am not saying there isn't problems with administration there. By the way,LPN is not cover, I just don't work there now. Might consider coming back if get rid of union. Worked in other places too. Problems everywhere. Biggest problem at GY/bridgeport before I left was laziness. You have STNAs on days that hide and complain about work and nights that hide and sleep and use the union to protect them. Particular the 3 on days. something tells me you are one of the 3 and you won't leave bc won't be able to get away with the crap elsewhere without union protection. Talked to someone from there about month ago and they told me it is same crap. How long has DON been there and has anyone given her a chance.

The look on the faces are going to be long, on those looking for a job. Where do you think these nurses are going to work. Despite what you supposedly hear, there are not many nursing jobs in or around Scioto County. With nursing schools putting out nurses annually and no jobs there is no where to work. Then you limit yourself because " we all talk to each other and always inform each other where not to go," good luck finding something. So what if you all do walk what then, they bring agency in and conduct business as usual. Who loses, the residents.
Get over ya'll self and work together for the residents.

no it wasnt't wise that was there at greenbrier it was three other agenceys but that wasnt why it was shut down it was the same don at golden years while state was in they were watching the lpn chart and the lpn had to back date the paper work so they made up names and when agencey was there they didn't have any of there own empeloyees there but just a few. and wise staffing is hard workers who enjoy what they do. we are there for when a place is understaffed due to call offs and other things. we do the same thing a reagular staff member does but we arnt allowed to complain about it we have to do our job twice as hard to prove to others that we are there to help so they arnt short handed but they don't get that they think that just becaules we make more we should do more.

Get the corporate kool-aid out of your water bottle and open your eyes. Most stay because they have been there before the current nazi group and are making a decent wage so they put up with it. I have spoke with many and they have said its the check that keeps them there....its not they dont work, its that the expectation is unreachable and the management with that expectation could never do any job there even half as good, again, you couldn't cut it as a social worker with the courts, you have never been a real administrator, so hurry up fail, lose it over the stress and move on. Hilarious that they were laughed at because after only a couple weeks the new nazi leader was already hospitalized.

Why not work together and give the new leaders that have recently come, and the new ones that are coming a chance..?? Not everyone is the same and it takes an entire team to make a facilty worke meaning management to nursing staff to dietary to housekeeping, maintenance etc. The advanced 360 is the most amazing building I have been in! Absolutley beautiful! Now they are redoing Bridgeport to be beautiful as well! Go to http://www.advance-360.com/our-rehabilitation... and check out the facility! You will agree its amazing! People should be honored to work at such a place and work together as a team to make the work produced inside the building just as awesome as the building itself!!! I'm asking you to give it a chance! Im sure you have heard this before, and im sorry you have been let down! But I see so many positive changes coming that will benefit not only the residents but the staff as well! Hang in there and you will see! ;)
