What the hell is going on there? I here that people are leaving that place in groups. I was going in to apply for a STNA job, until I heard the don, assistant don, and some other office peeps left? Heard they even had their administrator and another manager leave couple months ago? Then as I go in to ask about this some women that work there tell me the corporation has cut it to nothing, and the new bosses are locking the place down like everyone is a thief. That you feel like you can never do anything right, and u r always in trouble...is this true? Why?

Well most of what I was told was from people outside that were in scrubs, so I guess they worked there. Really had nothin good to say....I left, I just moved back to the area, and remember it was a good place to work years ago. Sad

Yeah it is a shitty place my dad was in there for 9 months . And they really dont care about the people in there . They do let them sit in there own shit all most all day long . They let him fall down couldnt tell u how many times . And never did they give him a wheel chair . And my mom paid good money for him to be there . That place isnt there for the people in it . It's all about them getting there money for people being in there . GOLDEN YEARS SUCKS

It has gotten really bad there. My friend works there and she has came home in tears because of all the crap you gotta do now with less help! They cut there staffing it seems like everyday, and more work being put on them! The owners of that place SUCK!

get wise medical in there they are really good people they really take care of the residents hillview and concord use them alot. when they are short staff they get paid to put up with the crap and they enjoy doing it.

Sounds like another one of the few decent places of employment is about to dry up and blow away. Get out of Portsmouth as fast as you can. The collapse of civic services isn't that far away.
I never understood why anyone with a marketable skill or education would stay there.
No jobs = no tax payers. No tax payers = no money for city employees. No city employees = no garbage pick up and so on.
Things are not getting better there.
