If you want to slow the traffic down then get yaself a pound or two of roofing nails.. Most of those sorry saps have gravel driveways.. Toss some roofing nails in the driveway and see how many come back around

I am totally behind ridding Portsmouth of the dealers & the addicts. However I have to say good luck because no matter how many times they get called the city police dont do anything to stop this. They either turn their head to whats going on or they are part of the problem! It will never get resolved until the corrupt cops are out of there & straight cops come in & are part of the solution not the problem! I mean everyone that lives in Portsmouth & surrounding areas knows about all the hookers on 9th but do the cops do anything to stop it NO! They are out on their corner every night! They know about the dealers, they know where they live & their clientele but do they do anything to stop it NO! So until the corrupt cops & other higher ranks in scioto county go down we are fighting a losing battle! Just my opinion!

In order to have a part of the american dream you should work for the american dream not steal from the people who are working. I am not just now starting with this crusade to get rid of the drug dealers on Vinton I have been in conatact with the local police department for a few weeks and since the one dealer on vinton thinks he can't be busted by the locals I have also been working with the FBI to ensure that his buddies on the local level can't save him from going down. There are jobs out there to be had you just have to get the straw out of your nose or the needle out of your arm and go cut grass, rake leaves, clean up trash out of peoples yards, fix the gutters any odd job that you can find. People who work will pay someone else to help with their yardwork if they now you won't rob them blind later.
We can't stay out of our neighbors business when they make it our business what they are doing. They are selling drugs to dads, moms, sons, and daughters and it is tearing our families apart and it is the sober ones in the families who suffer.

You are funny, I know the truck is what got busted. I did not mention her you did. He is not her X Mike is her current lol. And it isn't just him doing it either the whole family does something either sales, buys, or steals so get your stories straight or are u one of them that live in the house. I feel sorry for the kids but no one else. And the way they are going it won't be long til they have another bigger bust

Are these drug houses rentals? If they are and you guys are serious about cleaning up a street, the landlord can be held responsible for allowing his house to become a nuisance. Portsmouth should have some laws on the books about a house owner permitting his rental or his home to be a drug house. The landlord or home owner is charged and fined under the nuisance abatement laws. I just looked at your city ordinances and I believe you have several ordinances that would apply to these problems....traffic, parking, abandoned vehicles, loud music, etc. Might be worth checking into.
