Burg has went down like everywhere else. I worry everyday for my grandchildren. People are just different now. The economy is so bad people just handle things differently not even realizing it. People need to wake up and act like normal human beings again with morals. This isn't Detroit. There's good people that choose to live here or the right reasons. Don't ruin it for them.

although this may be a bad situation. no small business would survive around here,if everyone got items and never paid for them. if they showed up to do a job, whether it be just a reposession order. he very well knew it wasn't paid for. who in their right mind whips out a gun,on someone just doing their job. if you can't make the payment, figure it out,or give it back. i am a firm believer if you are going to pull a gun,you better be prepared to use it. i'm sure if that young man was standing with a gun pointed at him,he was in fear for his life and the fathers. as most are taught, to shoot...too kill. all of this because,he-himself made the decision to walk outside and point a gun at someone. mostly likely he didn't think a 22 yr old man would be packing. looks like repossessing in scioto county is a dangerous job haha. put yourself in their shoes and if it was you..you would have done the same thing.

at 10:30 at night, ever hear of small claims court. there is more to this story than that b.s. they are reporting...to the victims family dont trust scioto co. sheriff dept. demand the state troopers......it was a part..or maybe a bale of hay..this isnt the wild west...they knocked on the doors and windows for over a hour, that would make me feel like someone was threating my family.

I can not believe comments on hear! First of all get the facts straight!!! He DID NOT point the gun although of course the shooter and his dad are going to say this! Why in the world would a business owner show up at a persons house at 10:30 pm at night WITH a gun!,, C'mon people!!! They should have called the sherriff and done it the right way! A man deserves to lose his life over a lawn mower??!!! Some professional business owner! Id like to get a lawn mower off them and let them show up at my house! They were there for over an hour beating on doors and windows and yelling come out chicken!! This isnt the first time theyve been involved in going to someones house to collect money!!! The last time he (stakers guy) got HIS hand shot! Maybe they should have killed HIM then and this wouldnt be happening! They think they are bullies and rich grandpa can get them out of everything!!! Two little kids and his step son have no Daddy now!!! And a wife who loved her husband dearly has no husband! Justice better be served to little Mr.Tyler!!!!!! They are liars and they need to do their time! He is a cold blooded murderer!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly - and why was Tyler Staker carrying a gun to begin with, if he had to take gun he must have expected trouble and should have had the law with him.

If people got killed for not paying their bills there would be more dead people than living!!! His head should have been blown off last time instead of his hand!!! Just because grandpa has money they think they can go to peoples door TWO nights in a ro and kill someone?!!!!!!!!! Not one night but they were there TWO nights in a row!!!!!! Ill go buy a lawnmower off them ! Lets see what they do to me!!!! Besides that....has everyone heard the WHOLE story??? NO!!! Only the liars story!!!!!! Justice bettter be served!!!!!!!

i hate to say it, but it is shows like lizard towing that gives people these ideas. no matter the situation, why was staker on this man's property uninvited after dark with a gun? Why did staker not have a court order and sheriff deputy escort? That is why we have law enforcement and a court system in this country. Does anyone know if Holsinger has any children that are going to grow up without a father? ...all this over a lawnmower part, i am saddened by this tragedy.
