Scioto DD Levy Nov 8th

Scioto DD did not give big raises....the Superintendent did not receive a raise. The Director of Adult Services retired and Kelly Hunter was appointed to that position and placed on that pay range. The position he held (Workshop Director) was eliminated saving Scioto DD $85,000 a year. These dollars were used to hire direct care staff at STAR which is now serving more people

Get your facts straight butthead. All administration did not get raises. In fact they have reduced adminiastrative staff.

MR/DD, new name of Scioto County DD, is the most corrupt political bureaucracy in the county. Only the profiteers getting the money and fools support it. Fools! On the other hand, drug prevention does not need more taxes.

It gets worse than that. The public don't have any idea. They just "abolished" the tech position so they can outsource the job. After 24 yrs?? Come on administration get real!!! What happened to loyalty. Next time I am voting no, it is clearly about hunter and purcell and ben's salary. Check the records at the courthouse. Come on scioto county - time to fight!!

i totally agree. everyone should pay some sort of tax to live in a county and too vote, tax levys, new schools? the way it is ,anyone can vote, but its the land owners who pay the taxs. people who rent reap the benifits without paying a penny. thats totally unfair. i also think we need to continue helping the less fortunate. could be me someday? but? just another way to tell kids not to do drugs? if they cant look around and see for themselves, and what there being taught in schools now, Another program won't make any difference.

The levy passed because people were lied to by a bunch of overpaid administrators that fire people to give themselves more money. Save your own job Kelly, we know this is you.

Adam, I don't know who you are. I don't know Julie or Doug, but I do know Ben, Kelly and Margaret. Why are you being so hateful and degrading towards them? Ben has made some great changes in Scioto County, and I'm not talking about raises. I don't know anything about that. Kelly has never acted inappropriately around me, and I'm an attractive woman. I've never heard anything racist from him either. And Margaret is extremely pleasant when I'm around her. Why would you pick on her? When did you have a bad experience with these people?
