Huh? Look... anybody that trusts their spiritual life to an "under shepherd" needs to have their head examined. Study the book... use every commentary you can get a hold of. Don't be putting responsibilities on Pastors that are not biblical. How in the heck is the Pastor of a 1000+ member church going to be able to make it to every sick bed or funeral? That's ridiculous. To have a Pastor that runs the church and his wife runs the school... was begging...BEGGING for trouble. CHBC did a very stupid thing with that arrangement. Also... CHBC had been playing "footsie" for years with LaBorg trying to get him there. Gilmore was part of it. Both "sides" did a lot of screwing up... and both came out of it bloodied. Neither won. It isn't about winning anyways. Everybody saying "so and so is evil"... needs to get off their high horse and remove the stick from their exit orifice. Gilmore was instructed that CHBC was making a big mistake by bringing Laborg in. LaBorg was instructed on DAY 1 that he shouldn't tell the folks at CHBC that he would never leave. Now whether either of those men respected that instruction is another matter... but they were both told.

Wow...I just came across this website. People for Jeff LaBorg... STOP USING THE EXACT PHRASES HE DOES!!!! I'm sure you guys are smart enough to come up with your own phrases! Think on your own! Also, stop bashing the Gilmores! Whether they were good people or not, does not mean that you should take stabs at their character. I have read a lot of post that say that JEFF LABORG grew the church and RUINED it as well. Stop giving a man credit for the Lord's work. Also, there were other men on staff during that time that God could have used who could possibly also be responsible for the growth of CHBC.... youth pastor, small group pastor, etc. I am 99% positive that nobody on this website knows the whole truth. Stop the fighting! What happend has come and gone. God will judge and reward as deserved. It is not up for man to decide.

I graduated from CHCA and the Gilmores were such a postive influence on the students. They truly loved each and every one of them. Everyone should read up on what God has to say about casting stones. I wish we were all as perfect as some of you seem to think you are.

Sounds like to me that there was a wolf in the church that wanted to destroy the man of God! I have personaly heard Jeff Laborg at a revival and have listened to his sermons on Pod cast. I think based on what I have read and what I have heard is that Jeff got introuble because he preaches the Word of God. To all those who wish this man of God ill, I feel so sorry for you that you are so blind or dead to not see a true man of God. If you don't like what he preaches, I would say to you to move to Texas and join that apostate preacher Olsten and enjoy your "best life now"...he will preach to you what you want to hear, and don't worry he will never challenge you, push you to turn to God or even get you saved! This is why our churches in America are in trouble!! Every time we get a man of God in the pulpit we get some "skirt" who wants to run the church, or we get some decon who thinks that the church is there's!! No wonder we don't see anyone get saved...as Jeff Laborg's Says We are advertising something in the window that we don't have in the Warehouse! I just hope that College Hights gets right with God, Kick out the wolves!

They did not get their way so now they are going to tell half truths and slander others. All we can do is pray for them. The Holy Spirit will work in their hearts if they will allow Him to. The Lord has big plans for us all if we will allow Him to show it to us. The former members did not allow this to happen. The bad seed had to be removed from the fellowship so that the Lord would have a clean vessel to use. The Lord will use others who are open His vision and are willing to be used. CHBC is a better body in spite of all of the turmoil that has taken place over the past few years. There is a sweet spirit at CHBC and a passion for winning the lost to the Lord. So far this year, there have been over 105 baptisms and next Sunday there will be additional 70 more baptisms. Praise the Lord! CHBC is willing to be used by the Lord to evangelize our community and the world.

We miss Pastor Jeff and his family. The man was annointed, but he made a few mistakes. But WHO let him? The Pastorial Council. NOT ONE MAN could have done what they said.
I don't know of many Pastor's that get a brand new Maxima given to them on their first anniversary of being Pastor at a church, but he did. HOW people will turn on you so fast! Maybe you need to get your facts, the book is alive and well, just long on and order using your credit card(oops, you must have one first) God purnishes liars.

I hate knowing that so many are going to church on sundays fighting this in their hearts. it clearly leaves no room for the Lord to do his work. Please know i am praying for each and every one of you in this board. I'm probably the youngest one here, but i feel as though this is quite petty to continue. as I said, just let go and let God... put your troubles behind and leave it to the master... I think that Pastor Jeff's temper has cooled off quiet considerably since he came to Warner Robins, plus he doesn't have all of the responsibility on him there, that he had here. He did throw buckets of (Snickers) candy bars to the congreation, confetti, a shoe, and even walked the pew fromt the front to the back. He NEVER did these things in a mean way. He was trying to get a point across, and every one would laugh at some of the things he might do. I for one MISS him and his family very much. I know that they are ALL happy now and Pastor Jeff is bringing more and more to Christ. That church is blessed to have him. SOME of the rednecks here in this city gave him no choice but to leave. He was afraid for his wife and children. I tell you one thing, he sure was never afraid of any body else, no mater how short he might be. I heard about his past from people who knew him in school. He could fight & well. I hate to even tell that but it is true and I'm sure that he has told that himself. I love him and his family and HE will always be my PASTOR!
