The guy should have followed the 3 "S"s - Shoot, Shove, Shut up.
His life will end up being hell for shooting this scavanver.

Agreed. Just bringing trouble on himself. Can't trust the governmetn to reward his honesty or use common sense.

The Minnesota Deer Hunters Association, Pheasants forever, Ducks Unlimited, etc should have an award fund set up for any hunter that eliminates these vermin.

Since "everyone" knows that wolves only inhabit wilderness areas. And the Hillsboro area has no such wilderness areas, it is apparent that the animal in question is probably a coyote or wolf - dog crossbreed.

A lot of the "wolves" in MN have domestic dog dna too.

Only in America.

One wolf dies and everyone gets their underwear in a bunch.

50 million babies are killed since Roe. V. Wade and that's apparently ok.

God have mercy on this crazy society!

While normally I would say that a hunter needs to know what they are shooting at before they shoot. It sounds like this animal was different to determine if they had to have it tested in the lab. So there should be no charges filed. I had a friend shoot a goose that later he was unable to determine what type of goose it was. i had him take pictures of it and mailed them around to "experts" and the belief was that it was a cross breed. He didn't report it for reasons like others have stated. The government is so concerned about charging people and collecting fines then anything.

Yes, hunters should know what they are shooting before they shoot! The laws are in place for a reason I suspect because there are people who don't care what they shoot.

Yes! Only in America do we get so excited because of a wolf yet human babies are aborted every day as if if were just a medical procedure.

Yea, but that's 50 million less Democrat voters!

(Don't you just love it when a thread devolves into something totally unrelated to the original story. All it takes is a little gas on the fire and the troll-moths gather around the flame.....)

You ever see any of these mangy anywhere other than the zoo? If you had you would have a tough time with which is which. You are the exact reason he should have just dumped the dead critter in a shallow grave, went home and had supper.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Leo

This is one of those days when money slips through your fingers in no time at all unless you're very vigilant about your spending habits. Unfortunately, it will be difficult to stop yourself splashing out whenever the fancy takes you, whether or not you can afford it. You're especially drawn to tempting little treats and luxurious indulgences.
